• Wonderful location!
• Hot water heater was leaking so we had very little hot/warm water.

“Good customer service at a minimum answers the phone. I found a Holiday Inn Express in Niceville which for my purposes was much better.”

“This hotel was so great they called shortly after we got into the room to make sure we liked everything. Comfy beds, easy access to the beach. Good breakfast.”

• It was very restful and the view was great.
• The pool wasn't big enough.

“The motel was located on the beach, near the best restaurants and shopping was just down the road. The staff has always been friendly to us. We have stayed at this hotel before and it was always great. A lot of the things we do are in destine but we don't mind the drive because we like this hotel so much more then likely we will stay there next year.”

• The room was great and the beach is beautiful.
• Not that many gulf view rooms.

“Staff seemed friendly though I did see them switch someone¿s gulf view room to another guy because he showed some card after complaining he didn't have a second story room, room was very nice and the beach was excellent.”

• Convenient to beach, easy access, low keyed and relaxing.
• Pool too small and TOO cold!

“This hotel is really nice...it's NOT fancy, but it's clean and decnet. It is ON the beach, which is what we llike the best about it. It is squeezed in between BIG fancy hotels & condos...but we pay a fraction of what they pay. I don't go to Fort Walton for the hotel rooms...as long as they're clean (and they are) that's fine! I go to Fort Walton to sit on the sugar beaches, relax, and enjoy the good food. This hotel is FINE for doing JUST that! : )

IT would be nice if they had the pool beach side...I don't like the locatio of the pool, but again I don't go for the pool...HOWEVER if the pool were located at the rear of the hotel...I might be more inclined to use it.
