• The bed was very comfortable.
• The world's slowest wireless internet.

“The hotel is located on a quiet Cul-de-sac with another property and an assisted living facility. There was little or no outside noise to disturb the guests. The room was very nice, but in this area, and at this star level, I have always stayed at a studio suite with kitchenette. That was a major disappointment to me, as my stay was for ten days. The wireless internet was maddeningly slow, and I found the front desk staff to be indifferent, rarely even looking up from testing when I came in the front door.”

• Beautiful hotel, great value for price.

“Accommodations were well appointed, visually pleasing and comfortable. Overall, cleanliness was excellent. Amenities were appropriate for both business and personal travel. I will definately stay at this hotel again.”

• The bed was amazingly comfortable!
• Nothing!

“Very pleasant experience. Nice large room with extremely comfortable bed. Warm items on continental breakfast a nice touch, including waffle maker!”

• Clean.
• The indoor pool claim was very misleading, it is a hot tub.

“There is no indoor pool like they state online. It is a hot tub. That was very disappointing being that is was winter time and the pool outside was closed. Otherwise I was happy with the stay. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good.”

“I stayed at the Wingate for business and found my room to be loud, both from the elevator across from my room and the heating/ac system that was extraordinarily loud. Okay for the no frills business traveler but that's about it.”

• Nice bedding.
• Not as luxury oriented as some of the other 2.5 hotels.

“Fairly basic accommodations. Not as luxurious as some of the other 2.5 star hotels. Was disappointed with that aspect.”

• Construction, bugs, cleanliness, and staff attitudes.

“Do not stay at this hotel. Our first room had broken microwave, backed up bathtub, and exposed outlets. 2nd room (after we complained) had bugs crawling out of drawers. 3rd room (after we complained) smelled strongly of paint and was on a construction floor. We continued to complain and the staff stated there were no other rooms. After talking to the "manager", who was going to cancel our reservation but not refund our money they mysteriously found another vacant room that was satisfactory. It was not worth the hassle or the price paid.”

• Quiet, friendly staff, good in house breakfast, reasonably clean & comfortable. Beds good have been better but not bad.
• Room needed some repairs. Towel rack broken. Carpets in some areas needed cleaning. Breakfast corner for preparing food very congested.

“Generally a very good stay at a reasonable price. Perhaps the negatives I mentioned are not the norm for these hotels. We were told that one in scheduled for renovations. I only mentioned them to try to help. I suggest if possible the waffle iron, the egg and sausage server and the toaster be spaced out so guest do not running over each other to prepare their breakfast. It took us much too long to do this because of congestion.”

• Staff was very nice! It has a hot tub!
• The hotel was dirty-spa, room, furniture was cheap. Is not 2.5star.

“It is terrible, dirty, cheap furnishings. I do not want to experience this again. Very big mistake.”

• Check-in and check-out were extremely easy and fast.
• A dehumidifier in addition to the air-conditioner would be nice.

“A competent hotel, they provided everything their profile claimed. Although the continental breakfast wasn't incredibly flavorful, they did provide everything from muffins to eggs and bacon. The facilities were clean and the staff very helpful.”

• Price could have been better.

“Overall good hotel. Room was large and had everything we needed. One thing that could have been better was the morning breakfast. I'm sure Monday through Friday the business traveler is up early and gone. On the weekends we like to sleep in and the breakfast was running out of items by the time we came down Sunday morning.”

• Very quiet hotel...a teenaged tennis team stayed in rooms around me and I didn't hear a thing.
• At first, keycard didn't work. After resetting, door opened but room was occupied. 3rd try, room was satisfactory.

“Without the initial aggravation and concern that the keycard didn't work, and that the desk reset the keycard & sent me back up to the room to find that, upon unlocking the door, the room was already occupied, I might say the hotel was great for business travel. Everything except the concern over the key was satisfactory, but I think sending a woman into an occupied room late at night is cause for concern.”

“The location was right in the middle of everything - shopping, eating and some night life. The traffic was very conjested. The hotel should have been rated around 2 1/2 stars.”
