• Enjoyed the 42 inch TV, and the sitting room.
• Was suppose to have joining rooms.

• I love the layout of the room.
• When ask for something, one of the staff made me feel like it was too much trouble.

“I guess we liked the hotel okay, but because of one hotel staff member, and the double charge on the room that I'm having to straighten out now, I'm not likely to stay there again.”

• We liked the big screen TV and the separation from bed and sitting area.
• The parking lot had broken glass on it.

“We would definitely stay there again. The rooms are very spacious. The shower didn't turn hot or cold when other guests were using their shower.”

• Comfortable beds, modern updated furnishings HDTV.
• House keeping is doing a poor job with cleaning.

“Great place to stay and do business. 42" plasma TV is awesome. Very convenient location to major highways and restaurants. Housekeeping needs to re-learn the skills needed to keep the new remodel like new for many years to come.”

• Super comfortable. Huge TV. Loved the couch.
• No internet access. I couldn't even get an AT&T signal on my wireless card.

“This room was the nicest I have stayed at in over 5 years. It is underrated. The couch and huge flat screen TV was awesome for watching the race and a movie. My only complaint was that there was no internet service in my room, not even an AT&T signal for my wireless card on the first floor. I was able to park my 18 wheeler in the adjacent gravel lot. I prefer to park on the property where I stay, but was glad that I did have a place to park and stay at such a fine hotel.”

• Maid service was below par and a small bathroom.

“I love the Hyatt Place hotel chain. All of them are clean, attractive, and comfortable. They have everything a business traveler needs. This location near Birmingham went the extra mile on my last visit. While there, I injured my back severely to the point I could not walk. Some other guests assisted me down stairs in the morning and then the hotel staff brought me breakfast in the lobby and helped me to my car so I could drive myself to the hospital. I insisted on driving.”

• Awesome room!
• Staff was not the least bit friendly.

“The room was fantastic! As for the staff, horrible manners. They were rude and short tempered. The breakfast bagels was good but on the cold side. The hotel was out of potatoes and didn't bother to mention that when order was placed and didn't offer replacement. Rude wait staff!”

• The staff, the bed, the abundance of fluffy, fresh pillows.
• Just like its sister property a few miles away in Inverness, there is nothing about this place not to like.

“I stayed at the Hyatt place in Inverness on Sunday night-great experience! Again, what a great place! Staff is so courteous & respectful! Large, comfortable rooms, clean, clean, comfy beds. Everything about this place exceeds other 3 star hotels Ive stayed in Birmingham. The Hyatt Place in Hoover deserves a higher rating than 2 1/2 stars.”

“When we finally got checked in, we found our room very spacious, clean and the temperature was satisfactory. The only problem we had was checking in and out-the staff didn't seem to know how to operate the computer.”

• I miss not having access to the local health club. Their gym needs some dumb bells and weights.
