• The employees are really nice and the location was excellent.
• The bed was kind lumpy and it may be time for new mattresses.

“My overall experience at the hotel was a good one but they should really considered new mattresses and check the knobs on the A/C and heat in room 112.”

• Complete kitchen, desk area, internet access.
• Unheated pool.

“Very nice for the long stay business traveler. Close to the interstate. Plenty of restaurants. Wal-Mart and other business very near by. Overall, the staff was pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend staying here to others.”

• Kitchen, comfortable bed.
• Phone didn't work to the front desk, etc. No shampoo/conditioner, no coffee cups.

“It was great for an overnight stay but was lacking in the smaller details of what you'd receive in better hotels. The outside looked great, but the inside was definitely economy-type. It was comfortable.”

• This hotel is very close to the mall, so it's very convenient.
• The hotel is very close to the Interstate, so the traffic noise is loud.

“This hotel is a good choice, especially if you are headed to Montgomery the next day. There is a Wal-Mart nearby. You can eat at Milo's Hamburgers. They're really good!”

“We came down for a softball tournament in July of 2006 and were not pleased with the hotel whatsoever. It was filthy, there was hair all over the bath room floor, carpet was Nasty, pool was dirty, strange men roamed the hall late at night and I was scared to let my 13 and 14 year old girls go to each others rooms. We continually had to ask for clean linens and towels. I would not recommend staying at the studio plus Birmingham.”

• My overall stay was not a good experience!

“I was locked out of the hotel over 30 minutes because the key lost its code. The room had a bad smell. The picture on the internet is nothing like the hotel I stayed in. I was totally dissatisfied with my stay at studio plus in Birmingham, Alabama.”

• Trash in room carpet dirty stool on toilet paper empty beer bottle.

“I have stayed their many time in the past few month but this was the worst the hotel should not have allowed staff to assigned this room to guest if they expect return business this was poor judgment.”

• I liked the fact that it has a kitchenette so that we can dine in rather than eat out every night that we are in town,.
• The mattress was a little lumpy and it could use a new one but other than that it was fine.

“I have stayed there before and I was pleased overall with the hotel. They just need to make an investment in some new mattresses. Although we were there for five days a cleaning lady could have come by at least by the 2nd or 3rd day to see if we would have liked some fresh towels.”

• It was close to the venue where I worked.
• The floors were filthy and we were given a handicapped room.

“The carpet was dirty and so were the floors. I was not happy with this hotel as much as I have been with other hotels I've booked through the service.”

• The bed sagged and a roach was crawling up a wall.

• Complete kitchen. nice room layout. Free HBO.
• Small TV, no elevator and rooms are on the third floor.

“Studio Plus (and other Extended Stay Hotels brands) are my favorite places to stay when working out of town. The staff at the Studio Plus in Birmingham is very friendly and helpful.”

“This hotel meets basic needs but there was no elevator to our room on the third floor. The pool closed at 6 and was supposed to open at 8 a.m. but did not. There was also no information in the room about the hotel's services.”
