  • Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.
  • Facilities were in extreme need of an update.

“While the hotel was clean, and the hotel staff was friendly, the hotel itself was in very poor shape. Decor was extremely dated, paint was peeling, furniture was obviously old. Also, there was no shampoo in my room. I had to call to have some delivered. Having to wait for this put me behind schedule and caused me to miss breakfast. Location and staff was good, but the facility itself was extremely shabby.”

  • The back elevator was out and 4th floor ice machine didn't work.

“Me and my wife spent a honeymoon night there, had small problem with room we pick, staff/management did every thing in their will to correct issue upgrade me to another room and had a wonder time recommend to my friends or any one I hear asking about La Quinta hotels.”

    friendly and they comped us a night for our inconvenience.
  • Elevator was disgusting!!

“When we returned on the night of our second stay we discovered that we had no towels and no shower curtain. I am glad to know that they wash them, but it was inconvenient to have to wait for those things especially when trying to manage with a young child.”

  • Great location to shopping and dining.
  • Better parking is needed.

“The beds were very soft and comfortable. It provides a nice breakfast including a waffle station. The staff was friendly and helpful with providing directions. There is a pool and a gazabo that was nice to gather around. It is in a great location and provided some privacy from the busy highway. It has wonderful dining options that are actually in walking distance from the hotel itself. Shopping is close with lots of options as well. We would stay there again as it is family friendly and pet friendly as well.”

  • Outside entry to hotel was not secure. Not in room fridge. Not enough towels.

  • Close to freeway.
  • It stank in the hallways and in the room like very old dirty rug though it didn't look old.

“There were toe-nail clippings by the head of the bed, when the cleaning woman came to vacuum it the vacuum was filthy, dusty and smelly. No maintenance at all.”

  • Very comfortable bed & Recliner!
  • Elevator didn't work on our floor. Staff helpful.

“The hotel was actually much nicer than I had expected! Everything was very clean and nicely arranged. Nice TV, super soft bed and recliner! Only problem was elevator which was not working on our floor, but the staff got right on the problem and were very apologetic and concerned! Definitely would stay again!”

  • The rooms were spacious.
  • The security door did not lock, so anyone could get into the hotel from the side; double beds need to be queen size beds.

“The hotel had curb appeal. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms (2) that we booked were side by side and quite large, large enough to fit two queen size beds instead of doubles. The only negative comment would be that the side door to the hotel was not secure. The door did not lock and you did not have to have a hotel key to enter the hotel. Management was made aware of the problem, yet it still existed the next morning.”

  • I love the location, price and it was very very very clean which I love the most. The employees where great and the all smile and said hello.
  • The bed was a little too hard.

  • I loved the quality I got for the price of the room and the staff was wonderful.
  • I had a bit of a problem with one of the back doors locking in middle of day and elevator.

  • Cleanliness of my room was terrible. There was dog feces in the first room they put me in! Dog feces! How do you miss that!

  • The continental breakfast was excellent because I was traveling with my children and it saved me some money.
  • The other adults in the hotel complained about the noise of the children but there were animals barking all the time.

“I thought the hotel was excellent for me and my teenage children. We really enjoyed the whole experience and it was very convenient to all the shopping malls.”

  • Convenient, clean, friendly & helpful staff.
  • Low pressure toilets had to be flushed many times.

“Our stay at La Quinta in Homewood was beyond expectations. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and always accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean, with big bathrooms. We were so happy and comfortable. The only problem we had was with the "low water use" toilets. We had to flush them many times to get them to work, which kind of defeats the purpose. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. They are very family friendly, and even allow pets!”

  • Excellent! Clean, friendly, convenience & yummy hot breakfast.
  • Low-water toilets are kind of annoying, had to flush many times.

“We were so incredibly pleased with this hotel. The hotel is fairly new, extremely clean and well kept, the staff is top-notch and knowledgeable, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the location is convenient to everything we needed. They are pet and kid friendly. The only kind of bad thing I can think to report are the "low water use" toilets that are in the bathrooms are kind of annoying because we had to flush multiple times, which kind of defeats the purpose I guess. I would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in the area. You won't be disappointed.”

  • I was put in a smoking room by mistake but the staff corrected it immediately.
  • Tub was old- needs new caulk and a good cleaning.

“The staff was so friendly and courteous. The continental breakfast was in a clean environment with helpful people who immediately refilled items that were in low supply. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.”
