• Fridge & microwave.

“It is horrible trying to sleep in the smoking room. When we tried to change it, took hotel staff 2 days to finally agree to change our room down 2 doors even though the hotel wasn't full at all. Would not recommend this hotel to others.”

• It was cheap and close to the Indiana Dunes and the Highway.
• I believe our sheets may not have been clean.

“The staff was helpful about giving directions and traffic advice. This hotel was very cheap and close to the highway and the Indiana Dunes. It was very basic. Breakfast was fine. I think our sheets may have been dirty though; we did not discover this until morning so we did not report to manager. We got what we expected for the price.”

• First floor room very quiet.
• Outside sign dirty. Front desk and corridors not the cleanest.

“When I arrived, I asked some very elementary questions i.e. Local time, where the local Wal-Mart was etc. The female clerk, full of tattoos, was friendly but couldn't answer my questions. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and it was quite quiet. Several restaurants were within walking distance. Overall, a decent value.”

• Convenient location for my needs.
• Stayed in former smoking room, halls stunk like smoke.

“I stayed two nights and the room did not get any kind of service the entire time I was there. The room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a no smoking room. Hallways stunk like cigarette smoke.”

• Hotel was cheap and convenient.
• Difficult to turn out of.

“The only complaint I had was that they advertised the continental breakfast as 6-10 (in our rooms) but when we went downstairs at 8:30 the first day, there was hardly any food left. The second day, we went down a little after 9am and realized that the breakfast only went to 9 (which was what was advertised downstairs in the lobby) so we weren't able to take advantage of that.”

• Really liked the location. It was centrally located near restaurants.
• Did not get a room on the first floor like we were told we would get. Spouse does not do steps very well due to diseases.

“Not sure yet if we would ever do a super 8 again. Disappointed in not getting a room on the first floor. No elevator either. The workers had a tendency to blame other co-workers if something was wrong. Did not care for that.”
