• Very clean and convenient. and the price was right
• We had to wait about fifteen minute for the hotel clerk to check us in.

• Excellent quality, great location, friendly folks, decent breakfast.
• One of our friends had trouble with their toilet and they were simply handed a plunger by morning staff.

• Toilet overflowed, fridge with festering water in bottom, manager arrived hour late.

“The staff that made it to work on time were very friendly and efficient, unfortunately our toilet overflowed twice and we could not use it our last day there. When trying to speak with the manager, she had not arrived at her specified time and we waited an hour to speak with her before finally leaving. Also, there should not be a room located on the other side of the breakfast nook.”

“Very nice! Only disappoint with the hotel is that the breakfast area wasn't very big. It seems that the hotel may have outgrown the space that they had designated for breakfast. Staff very nice and extremely helpful.”

• Comfy beds.
• Dirty pool, whirlpool.

“The staff was friendly and the hotel was nice. But the whirlpool was dirty. The pool was cold and not very clean.”

• The compensatory breakfast is ok.
• In 5 nights stay, the room was cleaned only once, towels replaced only twice.

“If you are looking for overnight stay then its ok. for longer then that bring your own towels, toilet paper, coffee etc.”

• Everything! It was very, very clean. All the workers were very friendly and helpful.
• It was farther from my event than I thought it would be because it was on the far end of the next town.

• The hotel had a computer and printer/fax in the lounge.
• We were given the handicapped room which did not include the fridge/microwave that all the other rooms had.

“Over all it was more than just nice. Computer, printer/fax/copier, fitness room, complementary breakfast, fireplace in lounge, security doors, and all together nice room amenities. A+++.”

• The hotel was filled with Valpo visitors and there was a general feeling of acceptance by the staff.

“Fairfield Inn in Valpo is a great place to stay for families with kids that attend the University. The campus is close by and easily accessible for families to visit with their student. The staff are accepting and comfortable with Valpo families.”

• The noise level from the room above us.

“This was a very nice hotel. The only problem that we had was that we were on the second floor of the hotel and the room above us was very noisy. Could here them walking and running around the room and the floor boards were slightly squeaky and keep us awake.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• We were able to hear noise and foot steps on the floor above.

“Friendly staff, clean room with very comfortable bed. Good location in relation to shopping and restaurants. Continental breakfast had a number of options including hot waffles and biscuit sandwiches. I will definitely stay here again.”
