• The compensatory breakfast is ok.
• In 5 nights stay, the room was cleaned only once, towels replaced only twice.

“If you are looking for overnight stay then its ok. for longer then that bring your own towels, toilet paper, coffee etc.”

• My room and my sister's room met or exceeded our expectations.
• I felt that the maid service was average for the level of hotel.

• The hotel had a computer and printer/fax in the lounge.
• We were given the handicapped room which did not include the fridge/microwave that all the other rooms had.

“Over all it was more than just nice. Computer, printer/fax/copier, fitness room, complementary breakfast, fireplace in lounge, security doors, and all together nice room amenities. A+++.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• We were able to hear noise and foot steps on the floor above.

“Friendly staff, clean room with very comfortable bed. Good location in relation to shopping and restaurants. Continental breakfast had a number of options including hot waffles and biscuit sandwiches. I will definitely stay here again.”

• The hotel was convenient, clean and had a great breakfast.
• The beds were not exceptionally comfortable and the walls were quite thin.

• That the ice machines were on the first floor.

• Clean rooms.
• Continental breakfast could be a little more, but still god.

“Not much to complain about with this room. I've been a few times, and it's solid, clean, has a minimal but sufficient continental breakfast. I'm actually now a regular here with how good they are.”

• Beds were very comfortable.
• The side we were on faced the traffic, and outside lights stay on through the night.

• Very friendly staff and nice building, facilities. More than I expected for the star rating.
• Busy area but not as bad as I thought it would be.

“I was very impressed with this hotel. Based on the star rating I didn't expect much. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice for just a weekend escape from kids and hubby :-) I¿d definitely go back.”

• Clean, nice pool, friendly staff.
• Room on south side has road noise and bright lights at night.

“This hotel was comfortable and pleasant. I would recommend requesting a room on the north side of the building so you do not have the parking lot lights shining in your room all night. Curtain did not close completely. Also, lots of road noise due to highway on south side of building. Over all, a good stay for the price and rating. Just ask for a room on the north side.”

• Great all around customer service!
• A little far from the interstate, if you're just passing through.

“Great hotel, close to downtown valpo! (Not that closes to the interstate). Loved! The place Swimming pool great for kids, cookies in the evening! Were a bonus, and overall wonderfully great rooms No smoking in the whole hotel is a bonus, too!”

• Great customer service... Freshly baked cookies were a bonus.
• Hotel was a little far from the interstate (14 miles round trip).

• Room needed to be swept. Crumbs everywhere.

“Great hotel visit marred by poor maintenance of the room. Cracker crumbs everywhere including inside the outtake of the HVAC unit. Have stayed at this hotel three times and all times the room was less than ideal. Not time or energy to change rooms.”

• Bed mattress were bad, and pay per movies took 1 hour to work.

“The front desk man was lovely. The room was pretty smoky Overall it was ok, although in this instance I would have paid the extra $20.00 to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites and get a nice non smoking room.”
