“The manager of this hotel should be fired (but he probably is the owner) Room has mold on the ceiling and floor, very strong mold smell phone did not have dial tone. When I complained to the front desk. The next day I did get a front desk person to move us to room directly above. (still wet floor and mildew smell not as bad) The towels and wash cloths do not get replaced each day. No internet access. Very disappointed with this Hotel The Ramada Inn.”

“Upon check-in at 7 pm, the lobby door was locked and a sign was on the door that staff was not available and would be back in 30 minutes, so I waited outside. When he returned, he did not speak English well. The room smelled like must or water damage and had no shower curtain, no iron or ironing board and only 2 pillows. It also had no Wi-Fi! I mentioned all of these problems to the staff and was given a pillow and shower curtain and told Wi-Fi was out and that I could go to a lobby at the Travelodge down the street to use their Wi-Fi! Very unprofessional.”

“The WiFi internet was having problems the entire time I was there so that was disappointing. The room itself was very nice but for being a year old the hotel could use some repair work. Also, the hotel had an ice machine and vending machines but we didn't have an ice bucket in our room.”

“I had a horrible experience at this hotel. The toilet floor was dirty. One towel was dirty. The coffee pot gurgled and didn't work, the internet connection broke the second night; they didn't have any toilet paper the entire first day; the carpet was stained; the AC was broken and made the room and bed feel humid. It was a horrible place to be.”

“I was very disappointed with this stay. Then was told to try to get the Internet from a neighboring hotel instead. This is not what I expected from this chain of hotels. The front desk attendant did not know how to get Downtown and I just went to the brochure case and found the way myself. Also, during the breakfast they have no drinks, not even water.”

“The hotel wasn't "new in 2007" as advertised, but old and plastered over. We had a feeling something was not right when we arrived & were told the hotel was having a raffle for a free night's stay. The desk clerk called us right after we entered the room to see if everything was okay. We were tired, didn't have enough time to check everything out, and we said "yes." we later discovered the carpet was wet from a recent flood. We were too exhausted from our trip to complain & move to another room. When we asked about the advertised "free hot breakfast" the next day, we were told they had to send someone to wall mart, and that person hadn't returned. Didn't feel safe there, as the neighborhood was declining. Couldn't sleep for the noise in the hallway and room doors slamming, so we left a day early.”

“Hotel agreed to let us check in and pay a 50$ pet fee then called us 1 hour later and told us we would have to leave due to the pet and then did not refund the 50$.”

“The contraction of this "new" hotel was the worst I have ever seen. The tile in the bathroom was terrible the cement was still all over the place, the doors from the parking lot did not lock, the door to the room had 1/4 inch gap all the way around. There was paint, dirt, trash everywhere. Just a mess.”

“Hotel site said it was a brand new hotel. Please! Hotel was one old one renovated & not very well in the public areas. Patched holes in the walls, missing trim, no Internet access, etc. The worst was the fact that breakfast was served on the 2nd floor, no elevator and my husband is disabled & so was unable to eat with us!! Staff was not the best either. Overall, do not recommend at all!”

“Overall, a 2. I do not know why hotel owners in Florida do not do anything about the moldy a/c units. I am in the travel industry and fly for a living. I have only stayed in 1 hotel in all of Florida that did not smell of mold.”
