“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean with amenities I appreciated (i.e. hair dryer, iron, ironing board). The exercise room had two tread mills, one stair master, and one elliptical. However the scale didn't work.”

“Our experience was very good, although we were not in the room that much. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent (the water pressure sometimes dipped and was annoying)but still go a good shower, we were on the quite side of the hotel, one side was right against the freeway.”

“The hotel was every bit a 3 star and more rated hotel. Even though it is literally right off the highway we could not hear any highway noise. The bed and room very comfortable for a King but did not have refrigerator or microwave in our room which I thought was a little unusual as most hotels of this caliber have these conveniences in all the rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and if back in the area will return.”

“This was my second stay at this hotel in less than 4 months. The first stay was excellent all around. The second stay had some issues that I addressed with the front desk. They told me that they would notify the manager and I never received a call and could not catch up with the manager. There were cleaning supplies left in my bathroom which my 5 year old son pointed out, my room was left ajar after the room was cleaned. I was out of the room the entire day which meant that my room was either left ajar the entire day or someone went in my room after I left but I still never got a call from the manager in reference to the situation. My credit card was charged twice for incidentals. I was told that the credit card was no good and I needed to pay cash or use another card, only to find out that they tried to charge the same thing twice and thankfully my credit card company declined the second charge. No one at the front desk could seem to answer any questions I had and kept referring me to the manager who was not there. Based on my positive experience the first time, I can only assume that it was a lack of experience this time that resulted in the issues that I had. I did point this out to the front desk staff when I checked out as well. I would still recommend the hotel to others.”

“For the money, this hotel is excellent value. It's spotless and well maintained, and offers a little gym which we used. I didn't want to drive any closer to Chicago, so we took the commuter train everyday, about 10 minutes away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - great parking!”

“I loved this hotel. I stayed at another hotel in another location the next day that had higher star ratings. It was a night and day experience on the quality of that hotel versus this one. The Courtyard should have had the higher star rating. I would definitely stay there again if I am in that area again. The rooms were clean. The staff was great and the no partying policy was excellent. No rowdy noise at all. Loved it.”

“The room was nice. The hot tub wasn't very hot. The pool was very comfortable to swim in. The bed was extremely comfortable. However, the service we received at breakfast wasn't very good. The waitress didn't give us any napkins, so when I asked for napkins, she gave me one from her apron, and it was dirty. She also served us orange juice in a coffee cup instead of a juice glass, which seemed rather odd.”

“The Courtyard Marriott in Hammond Indiana is conveniently located near Chicago and only 4 miles away from the South Line train station. I would definitely stay here again the next time we go to Wrigley Field.”

“Just a short drive from the northwest Indiana casinos, this hotel provides very friendly service, clean rooms (some with balconies!) With extremely comfortable beds, coffee maker, fridge and good bathroom amenities. Cookies and pastry at the front desk, too!”

“I was overall pleased with the hotel staff and room we stayed at in this hotel. It was quiet, near to the area we were heading, and the room was clean and I felt the white comforters added to the cleanliness of the room. I would recommend it to friends and family.”

“Our experience was pleasant and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the mattresses. I have spent many nights in many different hotels and for me these were the best night sleeps I have had in a hotel. Also, the pool area and the fitness room were clean and well-maintained. In closing the staff was always pleasant and helpful with every situation, including in assisting us in finding a golf course.”
