• The "smart tables" in the lobby were cool.
• Beds were too soft.

• Parking was very expensive. Valet was $49 per night and self parking was $35.

• Friendly staff.

“We requested a king size bed, but when we arrived we were told that they didn't have one available, so we had to take two doubles. However, the next day they allowed us to move to a king for the remainder of our stay. Room was nice, service was good, never had to wait on an elevator.”

• Great location.
• Parking fees. Way too expensive even for the location.

“The hotel room was great with very nice views of the Chicago River. The accommodations were upscale. The only negative for this hotel is the parking facility. The prices listed in the parking structure, $35 for an overnight stay is way too expensive even for this level of hotel.”

• I thought the door man and the maid were extremely friendly and extremely helpful.
• The concierge gave the impression that she was put off with having to do her job.

“I thought I had asked for a four-star hotel. This place did not come across as a four-star hotel. Everything but Shula's was closed on the Monday that we arrived. The concierge acted like she had better things to do than to provide answers about the locale. The lobby and public areas were spacious, but the rooms were tiny.”

• Excellent view.
• Parking was expensive.

“Excellent hotel, room was spacious and well setup. The public areas were clean and well lit, the gym and suana were arranged well and at a very affordable price. There were plenty of dining options in the hotel as well as amenities like a gift shop that made it very self contained.”

• Pool was cold and the coffee maker did not work, I called to get another one and that didn't work and the toilet overflowed. The room was very cold.

“It was OK for the price, but when we left that Sunday morning, it was hard to get a taxi that was a van. The bellman said go over there that will help you out, so
I went outside and ask that can you get us a taxi that seats 6.
It took them 45 minutes to get the taxi and there was no coffee. The dinner we had made us sick so we all laid down for 2 hours.”

• Fantastic and close to everything that the Magnificent Mile has to offer. Wonderful bar and atmosphere.

“The rooms are a bit dated. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and the tub was straight out of the 70's. The hotel staff makes up for it though by being extra friendly and helpful!”

• Location and staff.
• Charged for a bottle of water - repairs needed to be made in the bathroom.

“The Sheraton is an excellent hotel for people who want to walk around the Chicago area. The room was clean, although some repairs in the bathroom needed to be made. It's a shame that this expensive of a hotel, puts out a bottle of water with a note saying it will cost $6.95.”

• Ambiance.
• Service attitude poor, room service not available at 9.00PM.

“Difficult to find , Valet staff unhelpful, took 30 minutes to bring my car to front entrance, Room service not available and all restaurants closed at 9.00PM except most expensive steakhouse. Otherwise could easily be an excellent location.”
