“The rooms are a bit dated. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and the tub was straight out of the 70's. The hotel staff makes up for it though by being extra friendly and helpful!”

“The Sheraton is an excellent hotel for people who want to walk around the Chicago area. The room was clean, although some repairs in the bathroom needed to be made. It's a shame that this expensive of a hotel, puts out a bottle of water with a note saying it will cost $6.95.”

“Difficult to find , Valet staff unhelpful, took 30 minutes to bring my car to front entrance, Room service not available and all restaurants closed at 9.00PM except most expensive steakhouse. Otherwise could easily be an excellent location.”

“This hotel is a good choice, not great, but good. Location is terrific. Some problems included an surcharge for Internet access and use of the fitness center. Also, no wireless Internet in rooms.”

“We woke up and our luggage was gone. I guess after we checked in someone came and moved our stuff to another room and we were never notified that we have been room moved. So after we woke up and thought our luggage we stolen we had to go with security to the other room and sure enough our stuff was there.”

“Hotel was great, clean, convenient location, great view of Chicago River from room. Only downfall was parking was $35/night for self park and $49/night for valet park...was not aware of that until we arrived.”

“I loved the view of the Hancock building. I didn't notice until morning but we had a good view of the lake also. 10 minute walk to Navy Pier which was awesome. Parking attendants and garage workers where the best all around. The women at the garage desk where just amazing and personable. My only complaint is we missed the street twice and to pull into the valet/front drive/lobby was confussing. Wish they would have been able to do something extra for us (would have paid anything to suprise my new bride). We where married just hours before in the most romantic ceremony and then we only had the skyline (which was great) but nothing else.”

“The hotel itself is beautiful as were the rooms. The front desk staff was personable, helpful and service oriented. Upon arrival we were given keys to our rooms (2rooms). As we walked into one of the rooms we discovered there had been no maid service and it still had unmade beds, dirty towels and in general had not been cleaned since the last guests were there. The front desk said the system showed it as clean, but it was not. They promptly took care of that problem. The front desk offered a roll-away bed since only King rooms were available. We ordered it around 2pm. At 9:30pm it had not arrived. We called down and the staff said it would be right up. 30 minutes later the bed arrived - but with NO pillows. The person delivering the bed said we needed to call down about that. We called down again this time let them know there were no pillows. The staff said they would send some right up. No pillows ever arrived.”

“It was a predictable and nice Sheraton with a great location and staff that was friendly and helpful. Our room was fine but several guests were complaining rather vehemently about their room cleanliness. The bed was nice and soft (we loved it. The parking garage "lounge" where you wait for your car is in the basement of the hotel and very dark with dated furniture and we waited 20 minutes for our car. That needs improvement. Overall, for the price I paid, it was a good deal.”
