• The room was very outdated.

“The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms haven't been updated in a long time and the bathroom needed to be redone and was not up to part with a 4 star hotel.”

• Location for foot travel. Readily available cabs. Efficient valet. River view from Chibar.
• Housekeeping noise.

• The staff was very accommodating.
• You had to pay to use the work out center!

“Overall the hotel was very nice and I would recommend it to others. I felt there were extra cost(s) such as using the workout facility for a hotel guest. That seemed a bit much to me.”

“The first they gave me was not made up so I had to head back down to the lobby; the air was not working properly so I had to call maintenance at 8 pm.”

• Great location, felt luxurious.
• It's an expensive hotel that charges extra for small things like faxing toll-free and minimal computer usage.

• Comfortable bed and friendly staff.
• Dirty cleaning sponge left on counter by sink & bad bottle water.

“At the front desk, greeted us with cheer and kindness, which set our trip off to a great start! Comfortable bed and great staff! Our only complaint was the complimentary bottled water tasted terrible and a dirty sponge was left on the bathroom counter.”

• The location to the restaurant where we dined that evening.
• The bath tub & carpet.

“While the bedding was clean and modern, the bathroom could use some updating. At one time, there must have been a bath mat in the tub and the residual suction cup markings were still in the tub. A better cleaning would do. Also, 4 & 5 star hotels need to do away with carpeting not only for the appearance aspect (there were two stains) but for the hygienic aspect. Plus, wood floors are easier to clean.”

“This is an excellent hotel, with a great bar and lobby atmosphere. The breakfast buffet available in the cafe was also exceptional. Our room was comfortable and had a nice view. I was originally booked with a two double bed room, but the receptionist promptly upgraded my room to a king bed at my request, and no additional charge.”

• Food in the casual restaurant was expensive and awful.

“Room was extremely small. Beds were not comfortable. Pillows were marginal. Casual restaurant was expensive ($22 for breakfast buffet) and food was awful. Food containers were picked over and not refilled. Waiter's service was inattentive.”

• Very nice in excellent location, within walking distance of many attractions. Definitely would stay here again!
• Disappointed there was not a hot tub in the enclosed pool area.

“Very nice hotel in excellent location. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly from the doormen to housekeeping. Would recommend to anyone going to Chicago.”

• The staff was very helpful and friendly!
• There was nothing that we did not like.

“The Sheraton Tower was a great hotel for us while staying overnight in Chicago. It was convenient to walk to from Millennium Station and also to go shopping Downtown. We did not need a cab unless we wanted to get away from the Downtown area. The staff was tremendous; very helpful. Going beyond what you would ask for. I would stay here again and recommend this to anyone.”

• Timeliness of hotel staff was poor.

“I was pleased with the location of this hotel, but with the star rating it has, I was disappointed that they wanted to charge me for the bottled water that was displayed on a table in my room. Overall great experience, but I will probably choose another hotel on my next stay in Chicago.”
