• The staff was friendly, and very helpful.
• Some restaurant wait staff was not sensitive to our needs.

“The location was a excellent for shopping. The hotel staff was very friendly. They made me, my wife and our 18 month old girl feel at home. Everybody went out of their way to see that our needs were taken care of.”

• The location was great, the room was bright and clean. Very nice.
• Parking was very expensive.

“The hotel location was great. Close to major attractions and restaurants. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. The room was clean and bright. The only negative is the parking. $28/night for self park - no in and out. $46/night for valet parking - in and out.”

“Second time in 1 month at Chicago Magnificent Mile area, this time shocked at the drunks sleeping in the area. My wife and I are not returning to Chicago for a long while it puts quite a damper what we think of the hotel after our disturbing experience.”

“It's location is great for the area of Chicago we enjoy most. The staff, front desk, bartenders, waitress and the cleaning ladies were all very friendly and helpful. The entire facility was very clean and well kept.”

• Very convenient to the sights we were interested in.
• I wanted a two bed room and that was not available and had to sleep on a couch.

“Very clean, efficient, I asked for room service for another blanket and it arrived within 15 minutes. Good security also.”

• They did not have room for us the first night.

“We arrived at 11:30 PM at the hotel. They only had one of our rooms available. The next day we did get our rooms along with a snack tray and a bottle of wine.”

• The location was great.
• Kind of small room.

“Overall the hotel was fine. Location was great, everything was clean although there were no towels in the pool area, somebody had used them all up and they were not replace. I would recommend this place to a friend although price was a little steep for the accommodations, but again location was good.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! We never heard a sound from the outside while in our room and we never heard a slamming door. That was amazing to us and as a result got a great night's sleep. Could go down and get a Starbuck's too as soon as we woke up!”

• Courteous staff / excellent recommendation / very helpful.
• 1 block off magnificent mile - during night police sirens.

“Greeted by very friendly valet parking attendant. He made several suggestions about parking and taking cabs to and from our show. Very courteous check-in, with an explanation of facilities and their use. Nearby sandwich shops and mini-market (None on site) One block to Magnificent Mile shopping three block to Water Tower Place.”

• The location to Navy Pier and other attractions rain forest cafe.
• Pool was way too small and way too many people in it. No hot tub.

“The hotel is in a great location if you are visiting the city for shopping and seeing prominent attractions. Very nice things to see in walking distance with small children. The only bad things about the hotel were that the pool was very small and there was no hot tub.”

• Excellent location, extremely nice, helpful staff and valet.
• No continental breakfast.

“Half a block from shopping on Michigan Avenue. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, especially the valet guys. Room was decent, quiet and clean. High speed wireless in the rooms would be nice. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Could not park our van in hotel parking. Had to find public parking.

• Location was great! Perfect for what we needed for that weekend away.
• Was not greeted by valet. Had to go inside to find someone.

“Wonderful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Lobby was nice but not very big for the number of guests lingering around with their shopping bags and waiting in the line for Starbucks. Room was very clean. This was a great place for a less expensive get away weekend. We would definitely stay here again.”

• Courtyard was very clean, well kept furnishings, attentive staff, and great location.

“My friend and I enjoyed the hotel. We were spending the day shopping on Michigan Ave for Christmas gifts. The hotel was close enough that we could drop off gifts and head right back out for more shopping. It is centrally located to shopping, dining and entertainment. The staff was prompt as we requested additional linen. I would stay here every time if I could.”
