“The staff here was the first thing I noticed when walking in. I don't travel much, but I felt the service and atmosphere were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This hotel is not 4 stars. Service is equivalent to a 2.5 star hotel at best. Rooms are dirty. Lobby and restaurants are unattractive
/ ugly. There is never enough staff to handle the volume of people. They have no attention to detail and are lacking in customer service.”

“Beautiful, eclectic and comfortable. Lots of action at the Hyatt, yet when you get to your room and close the door you experience nothing but quiet luxury. We had a gorgeous view of the lake and a king size bed that was to die for.”

“The hotel was in a great location. The rooms were nice and well decorated. I probably would not choose to stay at this hotel again though. It started off wrong when I was told I was going to be on the top floor & was not. Then when we got to the room, the mini bar had opened drinks that they had not cleaned out.”

“The location of the hotel is great and if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view of the river, it's a great one. It's in a great location but the parking fees are steep and there's nowhere else to park, unfortunately, unless you're lucky enough to find free street parking on a weekend day.”

“The hotel is huge and very much suited to the convention/conference crowd. The staff does a good job of keeping the mob under control.”

“Great location. Hotel Steak House was good a bit pricey but reflective of steak houses and probably comparable to most meals throughout the city - goofy waiters too. Room had a great view of the Hancock building and city. Staff was friendly, mine was a short trip but the room was great and the location was ideal for downtown.”

“This hotel is in need of updating. There was only a pedestal sink in the bathroom, no make up mirror and the lighting through out the hotel is terrible.”

“There is nothing too exciting about the Hyatt Recency Chicago. There's a nice restaurant and a huge bar but for two people who don't really drink it didn't add to our experience. The staff seems to treat you like a number and the fact that there are two separate towers makes it very inconvenient to move around the hotel. We either had to walk across the street to the main building or cross through the tunnel walk and then take the escalator down in order to get to the cafe or gift shop. The bed was comfy and the location is pretty excellent but other than that it wasn't too exciting. You have to pay for Internet, which I think is ludicrous.”

“Hyatt has a lively atmosphere, nice staff and a great view .if your'e on business and with children it's perfect ,but if looking for romance may not be a best bet due to thin walls and doors.”
