• The location was FANTASTIC!
• A beer I opened from the minibar had been drank and replaced with water!

“We loved the hotel. They were VERY helpful every time we needed help. I would consider the service outstanding. Our room was wonderful, and even though it was close the elevator, we didn't hear a thing. The beds were fantastic. The proximity to the beach, Navy Pier and shopping was just fantastic. We were very happy!”

• Room was small.

“The hotel room was on the 4th Floor and the view was of AC pipes and mechanical equipment. The hotel did not provide free internet in rooms (something in this day and age should be standard). The staff was not responsive when I called down to the front desk to complain about a bridal party breaking glass and yelling in the hallway at 430 a.m. This is one hotel I will never stay at again. Also, when I inquired about my Starwood points, the staff could have cared less. I would not recommend this hotel. My money will never be spent at this lousy hotel again!”

• Hotel staff did not even smile.

“The hotel was very clean, comfortable beds and luxury bedding (of course we were upgraded since we were inconvenienced by them not having our reservation on file), not sure if our original room would have been the same. Thought the staff could smile.”

• Free comfortable rollaway bed, great location.
• I wish internet was free like it is at some cheaper hotels, like Hampton Inn.

• Staff gave us a free kids movie because they didn't have a pool.
• No pool.

“The check in was quick and easy. The staff was helpful and polite and went out of their way to help. The hotel was directly across the street from the John Hancock and Cheese Cake Factory. Not a great hotel for children but great for a romantic getaway. There are also horse and carriage rides down Michigan Ave within 1 block.”

• The valet staff was excellent. Fast and polite.
• There was no in-room food menu & it took a while before it got delivered to the room.

• Staff was responsive and parking facility is convenient.
• Sound proofing is poor and we were near loud guests.

“Great choice for Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Service is good, but staff should pay more attention to room assignments. We were placed near 5 or 6 rooms with guests all in the same party. And I do mean party. They stayed up late (and got up early!) and we could easily hear their conversations in our room. Next time I'll ask for a quiet room but we checked in at 10:30 pm, the noise didn't start until after midnight and were too tired to request a change.”

• The price and the location were perfect.
• The valet parking is very expensive.

• Hotel tried to charge me for someone elses dinner.

“Someone at the hotel charged a meal to our room. It was not our charge. Took a short while, but the hotel staff took the charge off of our bill. Very nice hotel though.”
