• Convenient to the location of my client.
• No indoor pool, no amenities.

“This is ideal for a one night stay as long as you don't require a bell hop or any real amenities. It's a place to sleep. Rooms are small, so you don't spend too much time in them.”

• Good location.
• The front desk was much unorganized. We needed to valet park our car and there was no one available for quite some time to park the car.

“The location is good, but I did not feel that this was a great hotel. The room was tiny. I requested two beds and got two twin beds. I have never seen that before in a 3 star hotel.”

• They provided free bottled water. That was very nice/.
• The rooms were very small, but it worked out.

“Very nice clean rooms. Rooms were small, but it worked out. Beds were comfortable. We liked that you could grab a bottle of free water on the way in to your room or on the way out. We enjoyed this feature very much. We liked the lounge with computers. My son loved this. Very cozy.”

• The security of the elevator to keep uninvited folks away from rooms.
• The lobby was congested.

“For a Mid-range hotel near the center of the city, it was acceptable. Would I select this establishment for future stays? Probably not. The rooms were clean, and for a place to sleep, it was most adequate. But, as for a total experience, I would rather it be more than "adequate".”

• I liked the free bottled (purified) water supplied on every floor.
• Rooms small, had to upgrade to a larger room so we could fit.

“Older hotel in a nice location. Hotel rooms are small but clean. Elevators were also small, packed and required long waits the morning of check-out. We typically took the stairs down 12 flights. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful and suggested the room upgrade for an additional fee because the rooms were tiny.”

• Location was ideal. Free bottled water. Twin beds available.
• Rooms were a bit small and some had awkward layouts.

• They upgraded us due to it being my birthday.
• Small rooms.

• Restaurant was excellent.
• Room was small. Bed felt like I was in a studio apartment everything small compact, previous hotels rooms were excellent, disappointed in this room.

“Disappointed in the size of room and furnishings. Had to play with the entrance card for a few minutes before I could get into the room each time. Elevator was slow. My train departed a few hours after checkout and they charged me a storage fee to hold my one piece of luggage. Don't plan on staying there again, will pay more to get more.”

• The standard rooms are way too small, TVs outdated, no public space to speak of.

“The location was great, but for what I paid I could have had a suite at the Omni with twice as much room and a luxurious feel.”

• They were able to find a replacement for my cell phone charger at no cost.
• The sound of the elevator kept me awake.

“It is an excellent hotel located near Michigan avenue and the river. The staff was quite helpful and the hotel security was excellent. The only problem was that I had a room facing the back and that the hotel elevator sounded like a cart rolling up and down the hall.”

• Very small room. Had no extra pillows. Only 1 working elevator.

“I was very disappointed. Our room only had 1 bed which was queen. The room was the smallest room I have ever seen. No bathtub. Only 1 working elevator. Had only 2 pillows. Called more an extra pillow and they said they were out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Room a little on the small size.

“The location in Chicago is great for shopping and the theater. We could walk where ever we wanted. The hotel name should be better noted on the building instead of street address only.”

• The location was fabulous and the view was wonderful.
• Situated on a floor above the elevator mechanics so could hear the thunder of the elevator when it was in transition.

“The location of the hotel is hard to beat if you want to be downtown close to shopping, parks, museums, and theatres. Many rooms have great views of the river, the tribune building, and much more. Rooms are small, but clean and efficient. The restaurant is wonderful; it is used by Chicagoans as well as tourists and is particularly known for its pizza and pasta.”

• Free high speed internet, very good location, secured elevator entry to room, free water. Hotel staff is efficient and friendly.
• Could hear elevator going up and down in the room as well as noises from neighboring rooms and hallway. Room was very small.

“Great location but rooms are closet sized. Noises from hallway and elevator could be heard within the room. Even the TV / radio alarm from the neighboring rooms could be heard. Doesn't seem to match up to the 3 star rating that has been given to it.”
