• Great staff, nice amenities.

“This is a fun, playful, warm, inviting place to stay. It was a Cory respite in the city. Staff was friendly, personal, and super helpful in providing directions as well as booking tickets. Just a great place to stay in every way.”

• The interior decoration of the rooms was fantastic, the location is awesome, and the staff is the most helpful, friendliest staff ever.

“I stayed at the Hotel Monaco, part of the Kimpton chain, which proved an unexpected pleasure. Mine was a charming room with lots of fluffy pillows, gorgeous linens, and a goldfish in a bowl to keep me company. And women, take note Occitane products for the bath! Fabulous staff, especially concierge, who bent over backwards and sideways to ensure that I enjoyed my stay.”

• Convenient location to everything in the downtown area.
• Limited skyline views.

“Room was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable and relaxing. Hotel staff was professional and courteous. Lobby area felt cozy and peaceful upon entry to the hotel. The staff never failed to greet us upon arrival back from our frequent comings and goings.”

• The staff was very friendly and we did like our room.
• Accepts pets although that fact did not affect us during this stay.

“The staff was exceptionally friendly during our stay. The room while not as large as others we have stayed in while visiting Chicago it was the nicest. We really liked the location of this property. Would definitely stay here again.”

• The shower spray was not great and not adjustable.

• Location was great to all attractions and restaurants.
• Hotel lobby was small.

“Staff and cleanliness of the hotel was great. The staff was very helpful with every issue we had. Parking is very expensive and would suggest a short walk after parking in another close by lot.”

• Entrance is very unattractive from outside. They charge for every single thing. Parking is $40 for guests.

• Bath tub size.

“Overall, highly recommend this hotel to other travelers if looking for a night to just get away, relax, and enjoy with yourself or your spouse. Easy walking distance to multiple clubs, restaurants, etc great view, and modern decor. Travelers beware: walls are thin.”

• I loved the windows.
• The king deluxe room was a bit unattractive compared to the suites.

“Monaco is one the best hotels to stay in while in Chicago. I would suggest getting a suites because the King deluxe does not offer the huge tub. Overall, great experience!”
