• Great location; friendly staff; inside of small rooms were clean.
• A great of attention/care to the hall floors.

“Great location, walking distance from shops and restaurants. The hotel appears to be undergoing some renovations (specially in the halls). Some of the hall floors were needed attention.”

• Rooms are very small.

“I don't generally write or make comment on these things, but our experiences made me do so. Rooms are small but comfortable. They suit a family of small children, but not bigger ones as the room won't allow extra bedding. Breakfast was our biggest disappointment, the staff had a shut down time of 9.30 and they were sticking to it. Good food was being thrown in the bin right next to us as we were trying to get our next serve. I picked up one piece of toast, turned to get the second as they took the plate out from under me and through good food away. This happened with all the food and they locked the milk fridge in the process. Think twice about this one.”

• It was clean and the staff was very helpful.
• The ice was hard to find. The room was relatively small.

• Friendly staff.
• Stained & filthy carpets in the hallway which makes you suspicious about the overall cleanliness of the sheets, towels, kitchen, etc.

“Friendly & professional staff. Tiny rooms good value considering its a Downtown Chicago hotel during the peak season.”

• Small rooms, elevator is phone booth size, take the stairs.

“Great location. L train, food, close by. Rooms are small, elevator is tiny. Parking is $36 per day, but that's the case most everywhere downtown.”

• The location was excellent for walking the magnificent mile.
• Room was as big as a postage stamp and hallway noise was a problem.

“The location was the main attraction of this hotel. It is two blocks from Michigan and Ontario streets. The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. The hallways were very narrow and the noise from the hallway kept us awake.”

• Art deco decor was great. Staff was fantastic: kind, helpful, knowledgeable of the area.
• Room was extremely small.

“Overall, it was a terrific experience. The room was much smaller than we anticipated, but comfortable. The staff was remarkably nice, helpful and knew the area well. They tended to our requests quickly and with smiles on their faces.”

• Modern space, comfortable bed, great location.
• Rooms are small, closets tiny. if I had additional people, it would have been crowded.

“I was pleasantly surprised at the location and cool atmosphere. The bellmen were a friendly, helpful and welcoming sight. The lobby was small but hip. The elevator music was fun--not traditional elevator music. Breakfast was standard HI Express, but worked for me. Rooms were tiny, but traveling by myself I didn't mind. The decor was pretty cool, and I loved the flat screen TV. Bathroom was nice and clean, but not enough counter space. Overall I was very pleased with the location--it was so close to all of my dinner plans, and Trader Joe's across the street (and local pizza joint) ultra convenient. I certainly recommend this place again, especially for the price in this area!”

• While the rooms were small, it was nicer than I expected.
• It had a nice flat screen TV but the remote did not work.

“Wonderful location, a few blocks from everything including the train, which I took from the airport for $2, shopping, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. The rooms were small but efficient and clean. Unfortunately, the remote in my room didn't work but otherwise I was quite satisfied.”

• Comfortable and clean, it was relatively quiet and close to cool places.
• Our room was extremely small and confined.

“Overall, we had a very good stay at the Cass Hotel. It stayed pretty quiet, it was very clean, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. The modern finishing were nice, and it reminded me of other upscale hotels in the area. The only negative I can think of is that the rooms were very small, but since it is Chicago, its not like any tourist really spends a lot of their time there.”

• It was clean, the LCD TV.
• The room is very small. Bathroom was as big as the room.

“They could not put a king bed in the room because it wouldn't fit. The bathroom was the same size as the room. Parking was $32 a Day.”

“The staff was nice and helpful. The location is great for the center of Chicago. The room is very small. The door is two steps from the bed so noise in the hallway is right in the room. Breakfast was free and was OK. It is a clean place to sleep. As far as spending much time in the room, it is too small.”

• The location and breakfast meal (free).
• I paid with cash card for parking and it took 5 days for the deposit to come off the card after many times of trying to get the hold off.

“The hotel was very nice and we loved the location. All the employees were very nice. The breakfast was good and had lots of choices for the kids and adults. The mix up with the cash card was the only problem.”
