“I would recommend Embassy Suites-Chicago most highly. Location was central to the north of the river area and made everything easily accessible by foot. Also, the parking was complementary.”

“This hotel by far was the worst in customer service, taste of food and cleanliness. Staff was very unorganized.”

“Well maintained facilities with many extras from long hours for pool; great breakfast setup and food. Checkout and in very fast and well done. Rooms very comfortable with probably the most comfortable king size bed ever found in a hotel.”

“Embassy Suites was located centrally so it was easy to get to museums and shopping centers. The staff was friendly and helpful, with the concierge making sure we were seated quickly at the hotel restaurant in order to meet our theatre time. The room was clean and a nice view. The hotel lobby and the breakfast area had a wonderful, outdoor garden feeling, which is perfect for families or older couples.”

“Pros: good location, great convenience, spacious interior (I really liked the design of the interior of the building), friendly staff, hot spa, HDTV and delicious breakfast (free). Cons: can't complain about such a nice hotel. I extend my stay right after I checked in.”

“Loved the downtown Chicago location, you can walk to most everything! Enjoyed the free breakfast buffet. Really liked the adjoining living room with sofa and 2nd (flat screen) TV and the microwave & mini-fridge.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites but because we were looking for a lower budget hotel, we were on a lower budget. We got the hotel room upgraded and only paid $59.00, but then we came to find out it was $40.00 to park a car. And we had two. That pretty much took up our budget for the rest of the trip so we were unable to do a few things we wanted to do. Would have been nice to know parking was that expensive. Also the hotel was overrun by children with parents and hotel staff not keeping them in line. The hotel tub had at least 8-12 children in it at all times, even late at night. We were really looking forward to enjoying relaxing in the hot tub for a while after such a long trip (7hr drive).”

“Overall I would never stay in this hotel again. The cost of parking was $40 a night even being a paying customer for the hotel! Every time we checked our bank account there was another unexpected charge from the hotel of which we had to call and argue. Even being home for 3 days we are still finding charges popping up. The only good thing about this place was the location as it was convenient for site-seeing.”

“Will gladly return. Great location and staff. Wish the lighting in public places was not so dim. Made reading and knitting nearly impossible. Also wish there were more than 4 chairs in the lobby and more comfortable chairs near the bar. Guess they'd rather people didn't linger, but other than that, had a great time and hope to return soon.”

“The hotel was perfect for my family who was in town for a long weekend. Great location close to the Magnificent Mile and less than a block from the Red Line. We had a very clean and comfortable two room suite which provided space for the four of us. My son particularly enjoyed the cooked-to-order breakfast each morning of our stay. The only drawback was the cost of the parking ($40/night) but this is typical of all hotels downtown. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel and will likely stay here again on our next visit.”
