• The room was nicer than I expected, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful.
• The fire station across the street made for sleep disruption.

• The staff was exceptionally helpful. The fresh apples made a nice snack for the kids each time we returned to hotel.
• The breakfast area could have water and other items available during non-breakfast time.

• Shower curtain was annoying. Early check in was not provided.

“The bed was broken, were supplied with two roll a way beds. Every request was met except for the early check in. We actually got checked in after 3 pm.”

• It was close to all attractions in Downtown.
• Housekeeping waking me up the first morning when I had a do not disturb sign on door.

“Over all I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was great I could walk to everything Downtown or even taking a taxi was cheap because everything was close.”

• Everyone went out of their way to accommodate you if you needed help.
• The rooms are not meant for families with more than two children.

“The hotel was very nice for the price and location in Chicago. We had a few problems with the pull-out sofa in our suite, but our family still had a fun stay.”

• Very good public spaces.
• Fire station next door!

“The guest rooms and public spaces were clean, comfortable, and attractive. The only downside is that it sits next to a fire station that sends out trucks and ambulances almost all night long. We discovered on checkout that we should ask for an east wing interior room for the quietest stay.”

• Sumptuous pillows and mattress, incredible comfort, great smiling, efficient staff.
• Loved it all.

“I really could not believe the sheer luxury of the pillows and mattress. After running the Chicago Marathon, it was heaven! It was a few blocks from the start/finish but the walk was what I needed. The Italian Restaurant attached to the hotel was simply terrific! I would recommend it to anyone. Chicago is truly "my kind of town" and so is the Hampton Inn.”

• Great location for very reasonable rate.
• Cleaning staff would enter room in spite of "Do Not Disturb" sign.

“Hotel was in a great location very close to a subway stop (red line). Short walk to the Magnificent Mile and reasonably close to Navy Pier. Hotel was clean with nice beds and bedding. Very comfortable. Cannot beat the price- was much nicer than I expected.”
