“Staff friendly and helpful. Room standard, unremarkable, basic. Cleaning staff made a lot of noise in the hallways early in the morning. Didnt see any difference between rating this as 3-star.”

“This hotel is in a great location convenient to train lines but that's all it has going for it. There is pay parking adjacent to the hotel that is half the price of the valet parking but does not have in and out privileges.”

“We selected it because of its reasonably close proximity to Chinatown where we were visiting relatives. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable, except it was hard to get the room temperature right. Parking is $30 per night. Staff was excellent. Pizza restaurant is great except for the breakfast which is just ok.”

“The location of the hotel was ideal for my business meeting. The hotel staff went beyond the call of duty to satisfied my needs. If I ever get a chance to come to Chicago again, I am definitely staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites.”

“While the hotel accommodations were moderate at best, the guest services staff was exceptional. The restaurant staff was slow and unresponsive to the few customers; the food was cold upon receipt. If you do not mind a brief walk, the hotel is conveniently located near Grant Park. As soon as the sun went down, we were harassed by many vagrants and miscreants. Overall, I would give a 1-1/2-2 star rating to the hotel.”

“This was by far the worst hotel, accommodations and locality. The staff at the desk acted like I was bothering them to check in, never smiled, and only mentioned that this was a long day. I did not feel really safe once outside the hotel and the distance to downtown was a good hike.”

“A bit of a walk to the loop, but overall a nice hotel. Very clean, I had no problem with my toddler playing around. The staff was helpful and friendly. Answered all my questions. Called a cab for us to go to Shedds aquarium. Cost $10 for cab ride.”

“Went to Chicago for an overnight stay so my 11 year old could go to American Girl Place. Hotel was convenient to Union Station and we got on the bus across from Sears tower, which we liked. On the way back, we got off the blue line only a block from the hotel. The location was perfect. Room was comfortable and clean. Had a great time.”
