• The room was spacious and nice. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good.
• Jacuzzi not working. Restaurant staff could have been better.

• Location.
• Old and in need of remodeling.

“We ususally stay at the Marriott in Florenc and it is rated a 3.5 and it is more like a 4 or more. We thought a 3 would be pretty nice. We were very disappointed in the dark and dingy look of this property. The motel needed painting on the outside and the ground we un kept.”

• Rooms have just been refurbished.
• No particular complaints.

“Rooms were nice. We did not eat in the motel, so I have no comments about that. We had easy access to our room and no noise. Pleasant staff at the front desk.”

• Overall, the facilities are great.
• TV cable was out, and not restored during my stay. They should have told me when I checked in.

• The friendliness of the staff.
• On Friday there was a power outage, that lasted from 8:45 am to about 3:00 pm.

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Although they were in the process of renovating, the rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.”

• IT was filthy. I left and purchased another room in a different hotel.
• It was filthy. I had to leave and purchase another room in a different hotel.

“The health rating was 84. The first room I was assigned at 7:00 p.m. had not had maid service. They assigned me another room and it was filthy. I left the hotel and purchased another room in a decent hotel. I am extremely disappointed.”

• The room had been re-decorated. The new furnishings were nice.
• The bathroom floor was dirty. Needed to re-paint & paper the rest of the room.

“The hotel was being remodeled. We overlooked a lot because of that. Had a long way to go, though. Our room had new furnishings, but they stopped short of everything being updated. Everything seemed fairly clean except the bathroom floor. It had obviously not been cleaned. We didn't feel that, because of the above stated items, that it deserved the 3 star rating. Maybe when all is complete & the cleaning issue taken care of. The lobby area was really nice.”

• Location.
• 20 words doesn't begin to describe everything we disliked about the hotel.

“We went on this weekend getaway just to let our children play in the pool and it was so dirty that you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. We left and rented a room at the Super 8 hotel and it was cleaner there than at the Holiday Inn.”

• I liked the outdoor pool. Not to warm or cold. Perfect.
• Hot tub was not working. No warmth or bubbles.

“I liked the hotel and the staff. Did not have a chance to eat in the diner as we are from out of town and wanted to eat in some places that we don't have at home.”

“No room service & outside entry to first-floor rooms. Dirty rooms, out-dated, pool broken, dozens of old mattresses stacked outside our room. Night-time element not family-friendly.”

• Common areas of hotel are looking a little run down.

• Restaurant service is poor, breakfast is terrible. Internet is very slow, cable channels are limited.

• Restaurant breakfast bar is poor, business travelers will be disappointed with internet speed and access limitations.

“A pleasant hotel, with a great staff. Breakfast in restaurant is not recommended. Although inconvenient for business travelers, it is better to eat elsewhere.”

• Very clean and friendly staff.
• New carpeting caused severe reaction to family.

“My spouse, grandson, and I spent 2 nights in this hotel. The 1st night we were having a little problem with allergy type symptoms and by the 2nd night were having severe problems. We learned upon leaving that the room had new carpet, etc. We all had problems with congestion, coughing, sore throats and headaches. We had to get medical treatment after returning home and my wife still has congestion in her lungs. I feel we should have been warned of this matter upon check in.”

• Restaurant breakfast is terrible, poor food and service, television selection is very limited.
