  • Clean rooms. Beds were comfy!
  • Nothing really. I would have liked to stay longer.

  • It was very clean comfortable and thestaff always said hello
  • It did not have a swimming pool or weight machines in the exercize area

“The hotel was very nice and located next to great shopping and restaurants.It was clean. The staff was friendly and they even gave out delicious home made chocolate chip cookies. I only wish it had a pool and a better execize room.”

  • Very convenient 24 hour shuttle to airport and local sites, great breakfast.
  • Would've liked a pool or hot tub.

“Great, comfortable place to stay. Our rooms were clean, odor free, had a microwave and fridge, which came in handy. The 24 hour shuttle was awesome, and the free continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely stay here again.”

  • I liked the friendliness of the staff, the maids and the receptionist. They were most courteous!
  • It wasn't as convenient to downtown Chicago as we would have liked, but still, it exceeded our expectational.

“Easy to find, it was very easy to register! In no time at all we were in our room! There were carts to help carry our luggage and the room was clean, quiet. We liked the way the shower/toilet were separate from the sink/mirror. Also, loved the fact that there was a fan in the bathroom! The beds were comfortable, complementary breakfast was very satisfactory, and the receptionist was most friendly & helpful when we were having some challenges with using the complementary computer in the lobby. I'd use this hotel again, and I recommend it to others!”

  • Friendly pleasant staff.
  • Moldy smell in the room.

“The room itself was just ok. I did like the fact there was a refrigerator in the room. The room smelled of mold and the carpet was so wet with damp, I had to wear my shoes when I walked in my room as my socks got soaked. If I had a different room without the mold, I would have liked it much better.”

  • Friendly front-desk staff. Clean shuttle van.
  • Broken elevator, cheap beds, noisy & inconsiderate. Housekeeping staff knocking on doors yelling housekeeping at 8 A.M.

  • Lousy location for airport hotel took over 45 minutes to get there.

“Overall dissatisfied, floor of hotel room was wet and room smelled musty, had to wait 45 minutes for van pick up and then another 45 minutes ride to hotel out in the boonies.”

  • The breakfast was good.
  • The condition of my first room and the smell. Too far away.

“I did not like this hotel. I thought I checked to stay at a Three, Two Star not a One Star. I was very uncomfortable and did not like this hotel. I was frustrated and surprised. I had to travel so far to get there. I was very disappointed. It was too far away, and I had no one to talk to about it. I was very surprised that you are sending people to this hotel. Your reputation is on the decline.”

  • The staff was friendly and the room was large and clean.
  • It is about 8 miles from midway airport and 5 miles from Vermont train station.

“This is a very good hotel for business travel. It is clean and the hotel staff is fairly friendly. I was traveling with my daughter to register for classes at a university Downtown. When we checked in, I noticed an awful smell. I notified the front desk and she gave us another room without any problems. The shuttle service picked us up from the airport and took us to the Vermont street train station free of charge.”

  • Hard beds, outdated rooms, TV didn't work.

“This hotel is fine if you just need a room to sleep in and don't expect anything else in return. Hard beds, scratchy towels and bad smells are the norm here. Run, don't walk away, from this hotel.”

  • The location was good. It had a nice free continental breakfast.
  • It did not have a pool which would make it more family friendly.

“It was a nice hotel for an overnight stay. The room was clean & neat. It is in a good location with shopping & restaurants within minutes of the hotel. It was much nicer than the Bay Mont Inn that we stayed at in Gurnee,IL.”

  • Shuttle rules changed during stay - rides every 1.5 hours instead of as needed.

“Overall, the Baymont met my expectations for a 2 star establishment. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was courteous. Although the hotel did not have a restaurant, there were several restaurants that delivered in the area.”

“Hotel was fine for accommodations, needed an overnight to get to the airport on time. Check in staff was rude and unfriendly. Food in the hotel should be avoided. Check out staff was pleasant and efficient. Overall satisfactory stay for what was needed at a level 2 star accommodation.”
