“I enjoyed this hotel. I was going to Chicago for the first time and I was going by myself. I enjoyed the hotels pool and the rooms were great. The only thing is the restaurant cost a lot of money.”

• 2 staff originally lied to us about availability of non smoking room with king size bed.

• The friendliness of the manager who checked me in. He was excellent and considerate.
• I was on a floor where there were a few screaming babies and I had to leave early next morning.

“It was clean and the food was good. The staff were friendly if a little inexperienced and un-informed of the facility. The location is not as described, two miles away from O'Hare airport. Maybe as the crow flies but certainly not by road. Just be honest. Travelers admire honesty.”

• Was available on labor day weekend.
• Noisy room, breakfast was not included, dirty.

“The hotel seemed like it had not been cleaned thoroughly in quite some time. There were holes in the bed sheets. The air conditioning was so noisy that I could hardly sleep and the reception didn't have earplugs to compensate the noise. I thought that breakfast was included, but it wasn't, and drastically overpriced at 10$.”

• My room was very clean.
• The staff was nice enough, but I got an uncomfortable feeling here.

“My room was immaculate. The view isn't much - an expressway and busy street. The cable TV offerings are limited. It was very close to O'Hare, which was quite convenient. I can't put my finger on this place - I couldn't relax here. I just wanted to get out. I travel for a living and stay in hotels all over the country.”

“A bit out of the way. Although empty gave me a terrible room overlooking air conditioners, next to GYM, handicapped accessible with high toilets, minimal furnishings, etc.”

• Location, free parking.
• Old, bathroom fixture broken, sink wouldn't close.

“This HOTEL is very convenient for business travelers. HOWEVER - this hotel is NOT a 'good' hotel. It is barely worth a single star. The security doors did not lock, the lobby was musty, the parking area was limited, unsafe and very dirty, the staff was discourteous at best. The ROOM smelled like a combination of sweat and stale cigar smoke. The room was a smoking room and I am a NON-SMOKER. At check-in, one of the staff was overheard saying, "I cannot wait to get out of this hole". This place, at best, is a one-star hotel. I would rather stay in a Motel 6.”

• Clean facility, good location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, positive experience.
• We arrived on a Sunday night after the restaurants had closed so had to drive around a lot to find a place to eat.

“We were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this hotel with only a 2-1/2 star rating. The staff was friendly and helpful, the facility was clean, our room was smoke-free and comfortable, and we found it very convenient to stay here after arriving at O'Hare Airport.”

• The personnel at the reception desk and the housekeeping staff were friendly and cheerful.
• There was very limited parking on the night we arrived. It took 15 minutes to find an empty spot.

“The Ramada was a comfortable hotel with a convenient location close to the interstate. We found the hotel without any trouble. The room was fine and the staff was friendly.”
