• The hotel staff was excellent!
• Carpeting and some wallpaper in rooms does show its age.

“Overall, the staff was EXCELLENT. Everyone we met was very polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast has a very good selection and is a great start to your traveling day for anyone with children. The beds were very clean and quite comfortable. Rooms have 2 TVs each if you are staying for awhile. We would stay here again.”

• The staff was very professional and friendly. The comfort of the bed was unbelievable comfortable. I wanted to take the bed home with me.
• The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the main setting area was too small.

• The hotel system and room cleanness are very good for 2-3 day stays with cars because of noisy from air crafts.
• Far location from Chicago downtown and loud noisy form air planes located at airport.

• It was affordable.
• Our room had a smell like body odor that someone had tried to cover up with something. The pull out couch bed was awful.

“Over all we enjoyed staying in this hotel. We would have loved to stay longer. It was relatively easy for us to get too and it was friendly and clean.”

• I had a beautiful view from my room window.
• It was 16 miles away from down town.

“Super close to O'Hare (spacious, clean, beautiful view, big comfy bed, coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, etc.) very clean, semi-reliable airport shuttle, friendly staff, Spanish-speaker friendly, etc. Overall, a great place. I would stay again, for sure.”

“Overall, I had a very good stay. The room was clean and quiet and there was no airport noise. There was only one attendant at the counter when I checked in and checked out which slowed things down a bit. They were pretty quick to get another person up there though. There were lots of places to eat around the area and the free breakfast in the morning was good.”

• Breakfast was good.
• Carpet was shabby and hotel was unclean.

“The location was not convenient. Carpet was shabby, no option to open windows, vending machines are located only in 4th and 7th floors, but both were not working. The hotel looked dirty.”

• Big, spacious bedroom, free parking and breakfast.
• Small living room, sofa bed was broken.

“Loved the 2 room suite and the bed was huge! Breakfast could have been a little better, but what can you expect for free? Free parking was fantastic, shuttle to Convention Center was perfect. Overall a great stay, we will definitely be back!”

• Good location for the event that I was in the area for. One of the best complimentary breakfast in a hotel of this caliber.
• The bed was too close to the wall on one side, only about 18 inches. No nightstand on that side and hard to access.

“Clean with comfortable bed although crowded on one side. An excellent hot breakfast with variety from one day to the next. Easy access to the freeway yet quiet at night and conveniently located. Very friendly and accommodating staff.”

• Wireless Internet never worked. Spent hours trying to debug.

“Room was clean and didn't smell like perfumes or deodorizers but the carpet had some wear and tear. The beds were comfy but the pillows were like a bunch of sheets stuffed in a bag. Very uncomfortable. You don't hear the planes at all if you are using the A.C., Heat or Fan since it provides a constant din. Breakfast was very good and the adjoining bar area is full of big screens for news and sports. The staff all around was very nice and the area seemed safe and secure enough. It is pretty convenient to the highway as well. I highly recommend The Great Escape restaurant a couple of blocks toward O'Hare on Irving Park. Good food, reasonable prices and excellent service. Two can easily share a salad, as they are huge. The really big problem I had was the sporadic wireless service. I spent hours trying to work through connection issues with their customer service. I finally got connected one evening only to have it go dead again sometime during the night. The customer service told me they would reset it, but I just gave up after another hour of waiting. That really hurt, since I was there on business and couldn't even get my emails.”

• Extra sitting area was a great feature.
• Location, when you travel you want a nice view.

“Rooms were great, staff was great, loved having shuttle service and the drivers were nice. Food in the restaurant was good and they made sure it was just right. Location wasn't that great in view. You might want to consider rooftop gardens to add to its appeal, if not for people to go onto, but to block roof tops of other dilapidated buildings, air conditioners and the like.”

• Excellent shuttle service to/from airport & public transit.
• They ran out of shampoo.

“Even though the hotel was full and the staff overworked we were treated with extreme courtesy and efficiency, even if they had to "bend the rules" for us a little. Managers intervened as needed to see we got what we wanted. The rooms, though not luxurious, somewhat exceeded expectations for what we paid. The hotel was surprisingly well soundproofed for a place this close to O¿Hare. Their shuttle bus service was excellent!”

“The staff was extremely helpful in giving directions, making recommendations, etc. The room was very clean, and though we were in a smoking room, it was not evident. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the continental breakfast had something for everyone's taste. Round the clock coffee in the lobby was delicious and appreciated.”
