• Safe environment; lots of space in room.

“I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door and saw a living area; office area; toilet separated from tub and that separated from sink and a separate bedroom area. The window overlooked beautiful scenery. I needed assistance to get my computer on line and it was immediate service. The breakfast delivered to my door had perfectly cooked eggs and bacon. Very pleasant service also.”

• The room was great matched by a great staff. Friendly and clean.
• You had to pay 24 dollars a night for parking annoying.

“The hotel on its own is beautiful. Great view towards the North. The staff was friendly and provided all we needed. There was a lot of room to roam in the room. We had a few people stay overnight there and the sleeping arrangements were great. All the beds were extremely comfortable. Even the day bed was easy to sleep on and everyone was happy.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and prompt. The hotel security brought us TP.
• Parking was ridiculous. 22 a day? Why? Then to drive around the town and have horrible roads. I had to have my tires realigned and balanced.

“I think the hotel was nice. It was clean and spacious; however the restaurant really had no excellent foods. The gym needed some improvements in the weights departments.”

“The hotel is nice for business travel -- not so much for a get-away weekend. There are NO breakfast accommodations. The hotel restaurant was WAY expenensive & had a limited menu. Restaurants near the hotel were hard to find. Perhaps this is what to expect when staying right outside the city of Chicago, but I was a little disappointed. It was very convenient from I-190. The Internet and/or WI-FI was $12.95 per 24 hours! That killed me! While driving around looking for somewhere to have breakfast we found a nearby Comfort Suites that offered free Wi-Fi and free HOT continental breakfast. If I were to stay that far outside of the city again, I will be MUCH cheaper & go for the "lower-class" establishments. This may sound like a negative review, but it's not really. The staff was WAY friendly (except for the guy that checked us in, he was so-so) and it was a clean enough place. Just expected more bang for my buck is all! And perhaps I'm just a cheap gal from the middle of the state, aka corn & bean country.”

• The size of the room was more than what I was expecting-it was a very large room.
• The price I had to pay for parking.

“The rooms in this hotel are very large and roomy. There was more than enough room for 4 people. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever I needed. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that I had to pay $20 a day for parking. I feel that should have been included in the price of the stay.”

“I was pleased with my stay! The staff was friendly and helpful! The room was huge with a neat view! Would like more of a selection for thaw vendor machine and more cable TV channels like bet, nick and met. A TV guide type menu would help too. Overall, a very nice hotel!”

• Very clean room, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff.
• A fire alarm went off about midnight waking us up and it took the staff about 15-20 minutes to locate the problem and turn it off.

“This was my first time to Chicago. The area seemed safe. There were alternative places to eat close by. Staff was helpful and answered our questions. It would have been nice to be able to have a shuttle to the trains instead of walking 3 blocks in the cold, wet weather. The first day there, staff told us we could catch the shuttle bus to the airport and catch the train there but this added on an extra hour because we evidently took the wrong shuttle bus. We were unaware there were two different shuttle buses to the airport. After that, we walked the three blocks. Overall, the hotel was very accommodating and helpful and I would stay there again.”

• The rooms were very well appointed. The staff was very professional and helpful.
• I was charged 2 times for the room. This was taken care of.

“This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The staff is very professional and polite. There was a small billing problem, but it was taken care of quickly and correctly. Very nice hotel! A++++.”

• The proximity was excellent in location to my conference
• The hotel pillow were so bad I left a day early!

“The hotel decor was simply wonderful, the room fantastic but the hotel pillows were so poor and bad for sleeping on, I left one day earlier because of this. I did inform the staff the pillows were pretty crappy!”
