• Nice rooms, free drinks from 5:30 - 7:30.
• Pool is indoor.

“It's all worth the price. Way better than expected. It's very suitable for business travelers, just walking distance to Convention Center (Rosemont). I went here with my boyfriend and it's romantic as well. The room is so big, they give free drinks (all you can drink) from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. I am very satisfied with this hotel.”

• Parking fee was high.

“This was an outstanding hotel for business and pleasure travelers, although the parking fee was high. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The room was an oasis after a full day on the road. Great food and beverages. And above all; a wonderful mattress!”

• The room layout was excellent - a bedroom and a foyer with a sleeper sofa. Great for families.
• Too far from downtown Chicago.

“We were extremely happy with the room. We have a disabled daughter. The room was perfect for us, her and my other daughter that was with us. The complimentary breakfast was the best hotel meal I have ever had. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• The decor of room. Cook to order breakfast.
• The room key didn't work. Had to be fixed twice. Air conditioning didn't work. Had to be fixed. Both were done promptly/professionally.

“Tasteful decor in rooms and common areas of hotel. Clean. Professional staff. Location good for Downtown Chicago events, but not much to do in immediate area otherwise.”

• Great rooms, complimentary breakfast with design your omelets.
• We lost power for a few hours, but they cancelled the parking fee for me.

“Great hotel to stay, the best I've stayed so far. Complimentary breakfast and free happy hour. Parking is $20. Very close to Blue Line train to downtown Chicago. Great location. Will stay there again!”

• Very clean hotel.
• The A/C units in the rooms are on a master control and you can not adjust the temp in your room.

“Very clean, nice rooms, worth every penny in relation to the Chicago area. Only one minor draw back. Rooms A/C are on a master hotel control. I would have liked my room cooler. Other than that great value in the Chicago market.”

• A room with 2 double beds was not available at check-in.

• Fitness room was poorly equipped.

“The Embassy Suites is a wonderful place to place. The free manager's reception and hot breakfast are probably worth the price alone; however, the room is stunning. The two suite room allows you to live like you were at home (couch and TV in one room) and enjoy relaxing. Great place to stay. Close to the CTA (two blocks) and friendly staff.”

• Restaurant is very overpriced for no business traveler.

“You will pay for parking at $18.00 a night. All facilities were well maintained. The buffet breakfast was excellent as well as the reception at night. The hotel is very close to the convention center in Rosemont.”

• Size of the room and room amenities.
• Casual about 2 problems we faced.

“Parking was 18.00/Day! There was no indication at all there was such a shock. None. When I told the clerk that I had stayed across the Doubletree 3 weeks ago and theirs was 11.00 (another shock) he lamely said Embassy had direct keyed access from the parking lot. That was not true! Doubletree did but not Embassy. When on a short budget 11 or 18.00/day is outrageous. If it were not for only one night I might have just gone somewhere else. Next: the hot water was not. It was just barely warm and we got an "oh, well" from the day clerk. The room had only a shower and the curtain was rounded so the water went on the floor. There was a drain there but it was very slippery and dangerous. Another, Oh, well from the management.”

• The suites were spacious and comfortable - had 3 sinks that were all in different locations-very convenient.
• We had intermittent problems with the room key not working.

“The breakfast was great, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was upscale. The only bad food I got was a dessert from room service that tasted stale. Wireless internet in the room was reliable and fast, but the business center had only 2 computers. The spacious size of the suites make this hotel a great destination for families and business travelers.”
