• Small and compact; everything was just enough to make economic sense.
• Stains on the chair. Stripped screws on the chain lock.

“Overall, this hotel was not that bad. The staff was quick, courteous, and efficient. The rooms were small, but large enough that we could effectively sleep and relax when we needed to; it wasn't a leisure experience, just a place to hunker down and sleep for the night. The area of the hotel, however, was somewhat of a wasteland; little development in a general mile radius, with a ghetto down a single block (our first night a policeman responded to a break-in to the restaurant next to the hotel), and while I was unloading our car, a group of travelers warned me that I needed to get *everything* out of my car, "because we got broken into last night, and it could happen just as easily to you." These issues aside, our stay at this hotel was decent, and adequate for our needs.”

• Nice, clean, friendly staff, nice selection of breakfast items.
• Shower head in shower could be better. Spray not good.

• Close to area visited.
• Access to hotel was not great, on busy road and no traffic light.

“Decent accommodations and close to the Base. Tough to access during high traffic hours.”

• It's a great place to stay if visiting someone at great lakes Naval base.
• Finding the hotel is hard. There is only one 4-foot high, unlit sign marking the entrance, and the hotel cannot be seen from the highway.

“If you need a place to sleep while visiting great lakes Naval base, this is fine. The room is very small, though the shower is big. It is clean and quiet. The free breakfast had cereal and a waffle iron. But not even bread. Finding the hotel isn't easy; look behind the McDonald's!”

• The room was dirty, bedding holey, and simply bad.

• Breakfast was good.
• Took a while to find the ice machine.

“The hotel was nothing fancy. But it was nice. The one-person rooms were small, but you don't really need a lot of room when you just need a place to sleep. The bathroom door was a sliding door, and while that was strange it wasn't really an issue in the long run.”
