• Convenient to summer fest grounds.
• Dirty ashtray, toilet didn't flush good, had to wait to long for shuttle.

“I may try this hotel again. Staff was pleasant. Never went into the bar area, but it looked wonderful and festive. Would have thought that I wouldn't come into a dirty ash tray and the toilet could have flushed better. Otherwise, things were basically clean.”

• Location. Nothing else.
• No curtains in the room, horrible maintenance, mean workers.

“It was horrible. We were woken up by 6 AM because there were no curtains in the room so it was very bright. We were extremely nice but that did not matter. The workers hated us because we were cubs fans. Very unprofessional, unsanitary, and disgusting. There were bugs all over the room.”

• The location was perfect. Close to festival grounds and downtown.
• Shuttle service does not run after 7 Pm. Which means you can go to dinner but not get back.

“Hotel staff was friendly. Room was clean. Unfortunately the shuttle service that was offered did not run after 7 PM which I found to be very strange. No pool so it would not be good for a family with kids. The parking situation is pathetic. You have to park 3 deep and then leave your keys at the desk. Did not like that part.”

• My fault - forgot to ask a non smoking room.

“I liked the location and parking. Front desk was pleasant and the rooms were nice sized. The hotel was very booked so the elevators were some what of a problem.”

• Quick check in.
• There was no warning about any cost for parking.

“When we walked into the hotel, it was difficult to find the entrance from the parking area. When we did get in, we checked in right away. As we walked to our room, there was worn out carpeting, furnishings and an overall worn-out appearance. When we checked into our room, we did not have a lake view. The room was old and ragged looking. When we went to the dining/bar area, it took them a long time to notice us, we then had to ask them to wipe/clean off the bar area where we were, because it was sticky and dirty. When they did, it was not much better. It was a poor job. The cleanliness was very bad. We did not even finish our order and we left. Check-out was easy. When we went to leave the parking area, there were no clear signs about where to put the code to get out, or how to get out for that matter. There were also many cars that were parked in the garage in areas of no parking zones and this made it difficult to get our car out without hitting or scratching other vehicles. We are lucky we brought our small car.”

• I liked that it was close to the lake.
• It is in desperate need of an upgrade.

“This hotel needs an upgrade, I felt like I was back in 1980. The bathroom was tiny and I felt dirty in the hotel. I felt like I did not want to touch anything. And do people actually work there? I think I saw one person the whole weekend. That includes housekeepers.”

• Nothing thrilled me. It does have a nice location.
• It feels cramped, dirty in places and the elevators are quite annoying.

“There are cheaper hotels in Milwaukee that parallel or exceed the quality of this one. But it's not so bad.”

• Located close to all the places we wanted to go.
• Parking was a bit of a challenge.

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms, hallways stairways and elevators were very clean. We felt safe in the hotel.”

• Clean and staff was super helpful
• Not worth the price.

“Shuttle driver was so helpful and kind. Laid back atmosphere. Restaurant was very upscale compared to the hotel.”
