• Smoking and non-smoking rooms upon requst
• hallways were dirty and cluttered

• Near Interstate 43.
• Noise from the room next door.

“Another hotel by the same name was a mile down the street, causing confusion at first. The other hotel was much nicer in appearance then the one we stayed in. Room was newly decorated and very nice. Great mattresses. Noise from the room next door at midnight was ridiculous,
TV and children were loud.”

• Most friendliest and helpful staff.
• Doors to room did not shut properly; had to slam door and recheck it to make sure it was locked properly.

“Very nice hotel, with the friendliest staff I have encountered in a long time. Door to room was tricky and had to re-check it every time to make sure it was shut and locked properly. Very quiet.”

“It was okay; there was garbage behind the dresser that was left from a previous guest, not enough breakfast selection, not much for kids! Over all it was a nice hotel.”

• Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Safe place to stay.
• Continental breakfast was a little weak, but we got there late morning.

“This is a perfect hotel for people looking for a clean simple hotel. We were looking for some place to sleep and then day trip to places around Milwaukee and it was perfect.”

• Noisy, unclean bathroom when checked in, room door doesn't work.

“Unclean bathroom. Door of the room doesn't work properly. Spacious room, however, the mattress cover keeps coming off. The blankets were uncomfortable, and doesn't keep warm. I got a cold the next day because of it.”

• Room was very clean, and staff was friendly!
• The adjoining door between rooms let in a lot of noise from the room next door!

“Hotel was undergoing some work in the lobby. Room was neat and clean. The door didn't close too well; you had to push hard on the door to get it to close all the way. There was a door to the room next to ours that wasn't lined up straight so we could hear everything in the room next to us. The location was a bit hated to find also. There are 2 La Quinta's within 3 blocks of each other, and this one was sort of tucked away at the edge of Downtown. However, the room was cozy and fit our needs perfectly!”

“Good staff, but pet friendly policy was a problem with me, as I have allergies, and they allow pets in ALL rooms. It would be a good idea to limit pets to first floor rooms, as it was obvious there was a pet in my room the night before, and my asthma was bad.”

“Other than the bugs and ant it was a decent hotel in a safe enough location, staff did not do a good job of describing how to get to the hotel.”

• Recently remodeled. Very clean looking.
• Entry, lobby and dining area smelled of smoke.

“Good value. Hot & cold breakfast options. Excellent location for shopping, dining and if visiting the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi. No frills beyond. Showtime and the breakfast. No pool or exercise room. A decent, serviceable place to lay your head at night.”

• Location and access to highway, shopping, main attractions. Shower massage, wood floors, recliner.
• Remodeling, fresh paint smell, large gap in door closure, could hear all noises in hall and other rooms.

“Economical, friendly and very good location to area attractions. Would not have liked being alone as a women due to doors not shutting tightly, noise levels and feeling of dark hallways. Freshly remodeled rooms were nicely decorated.”

• Trash & garbage pickup noise was too early in the am.

“A nice, clean, pleasant hotel. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. The early morning trash pickup was not a positive for sleep. They need to reschedule it or I will reschedule any further stays with them.”
