• Nothing.
• My vehicle as burglarized in the parking lot, and no security cameras.

“Poor, hotel was undergoing renovations, may have been nice at one time, bed was terrible, lock on room door stuck, took 4 or 5 attempts to open door, no security cameras in parking lot, my vehicle was burglarized in parking lot, responding officer told me that he had taken another burglary call there the previous week.”

• The staff was co operative to deal with all the problems in the room.
• The overall experience was bad I mean bad. The room had a lot of maintenance problems and was poorly kept.

“Very poorly maintained. Room needs to be refurbished. On arrival day we had insects crawling around. There were no bed side lights I mean bulbs. The light fixers were broken. There was no hot water in the sink. Once repaired it ran rusty water for all the 4 days once turned on. The bath tub was clogged. This was the reality. Never again at this location.”

• Blanket was much worn and badly stained; hotel had an old looking feel to it.

• We had to try three rooms before getting one that did not smell like smoke.

“The rooms smelled like smoke, the front desk lobby person was willing to let us try more than one room but seem perturbed that we would not stay in a smoke-smelling room. The sheets were dingy, the pillow were uncomfortable, the bathroom was in need of remodeling. I would never stay here again, that's for sure. The fact that they are in the middle of remodeling did not bother me. But the hotel itself left much to be desired.”

• It was much better than the reviews I read for it.
• Renovation going on.

“I think this hotel is getting a bad rap by reviewers as I did not read one good review about the place. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice hotel. Nothing real posh, but not the "hole" it has been reviewed as either.”

• Horribly shabby - so many things wrong in the room!

“We were just looking for a place to sleep a few hours, but were still extremely disappointed. Cigarette burns in the comforter, "artwork" on the walls was crooked, a full-length mirror was actually permanently attached at about a very sharp angle? The TV remote was missing the battery cover so the batteries kept falling out. The carpeting had multiple stains. Just a horrible experience overall.”

• It was horrible. Thugs all around and police looking for people.
• They said there was a breakfast and there was not.

“They were looking for someone and said there was illegal activity down stairs. I was staying here with our church youth and was extremely concerned for their wellbeing.”

• Really old and run down.

“This hotel looked like it was built in the early 70's and has not been altered since. Very outdated and parking lot a bit remote and dark for the area which made it kind of scary. Ceiling tiles missing in the hallway showing exposed pipes. We had to move the nightstand to retrieve a dropped item and the baseboard was filthy - looked like years of accumulated dust and grime.”

“This completely run down hotel should see the wrecking ball as soon as possible. Everything about the facility was in poor repair: dirty walls, floors and carpeting. Even a pile of what I later found out to be human fecal matter in front of the ice machine. The banquet facility was hosting a party which could be heard in the rooms and filled the lobby with women who looked like they could be rented by the hour. I would have been better off sleeping in my car.”

• I didn't stay long.
• Mildly wall paper falling off wall, grimy room, parking charge.

“This hotel is currently being renovated. Unfortunately the only effective way to renovate this hotel would be to burn it down and start over. Failing that, avoiding this property would be wise for all travelers.”

• Beds nice and firm. Very quiet. Free continental breakfast.
• Entire hotel needed updating 20 years ago. Pool area closed for "remodeling".

“Hotel needed remodeling 20 years ago. It looks like some updating is being attempted but needs to be gutted otherwise the effort is a waste of time. Room seemed clean, had newer carpet and firm beds. Sweet rolls, juice and coffee served in lobby in am. Very quiet perhaps because few people staying there. Several floors and pool area closed for "remodeling".”

• Were the sheets washed?

“The side door was not locked at 12:30 a.m. When we arrived. There were doors to rooms on the first floor that were not closed which made us nervous while walking down the hall. Mercifully, the desk attendant assigned us to the room nearest the lobby which gave us a better sense of safety. However, the first floor room had a window in a darkened corner of the building, and the carpet under the a/c unit was wet.”

• The pool area and the lobby were nice.
• The hallways, elevators, stairways and the rooms were not in very good shape.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. There was a moldy ceiling tile in the hallway just outside our room and it looked like it could fall at any time. The furniture in the rooms were run down and the bedspreads didn't even match. The hotel didn't match the description in the ads at all.”

• Very fine to excellent restaurant & staff.
• Was not clean or cleaned well at all, particularly rooms.

“Excellent location with nearness to interstate & bypasses. Very easy to commute to anywhere in the Milwaukee area. Hotel is showing its age and apparent lack of supervisory staff results in cleanliness problems. Fine restaurant and staff. Superb Sunday brunch with pastries deluxe.”
