“The reason I decided on this hotel was because it had a pool. Because of renovations, that were finished but the inspector had not been out, we were not able to go swimming. Stairs were missing carpet, and the shuttle took 30 minutes to pick me up. I was very disappointed, and could not wait to leave the next morning. If my flight had not gotten in so late (11:30 PM) I would have found a different hotel.”

“Staff was friendly. All vending machines were either out of order or out of water. Pool area was closed due to construction or repair. The room was comfortable.”

“Well-maintained, mostly, but definitely not a new facility -- visibly late '60s vintage. The idea of a safe for valuables in the room made me wonder a bit about the neighborhood and the reliability of the staff. When I wanted to call the front desk with a question, I found that the phone was dead. The restaurant was convenient -- I'm an early riser and like breakfasts. My laptop wireless isn't configured yet, so I appreciated being allowed the use of a pc set up in the lobby to check personal e-mail. If I wanted accessibility to the airport without being smack-dab on top of it, this motel would work well. Most of what I wanted to do was downtown, so I think I'd prefer not to stay there the next time I want to visit Milwaukee.”

“Long black hair (not mine) on the white sheet, dirty towel over the shower curtain rod (not mine) there for both days. Bathtub was not cleaned well. The whole room gave me the willies!”

“The hotel was easy to find, normally we stay in the Brookfield area but decided to venture further east. We liked our stay very well. The coffee maker was party full of coffee when we arrived, and continued to be when we left - no big problem, as we did not use it. Would come back again. Thank you.”

“I would not stay at this type of hotel again. They charged me more for my room than on the receipt. I left feeling that some one else paid for my room. I asked them and they did not really know what happened. Hotel seemed trashed to me.”

“The hotel was nice for the price. We spent most our time in the downtown area. The hotel was pretty easy to get to and not that far of a drive from the downtown area. The difficulty is figuring out how to get there since the ramp splits before you can determine which direction it is. You can take either one. If you take the right fork, you will make an almost immediate U-turn after you merge onto the street. If you take the left fork, you can go straight through the right and take an alley around the back of the hotel. There is no sign for HJ at that point, but their restaurant has a sign there - I believe it's Spring Garden.”
