• Shuttle bus.
• Gave other guests our room and keys -- we got walked in on.

“Friendly, helpful staff old, dingy reception area poor breakfast clean comfortable room.”

• Access to the hotel shuttle was great.
• Did not receive extra towels and pillows upon asking.

“This hotel is definitely a bargain for a room in the city. One thing to mention is that the hotel is not downtown. Its actually between Miller Park and Downtown near Marquette University. However, the shuttle from the Ambassador Hotel across the street took our group of six anywhere we wanted including all breweries and all Brewer baseball games. That service is worth it in itself. Also, free parking was a great feature.”

• Very nice rooms.
• The lobby is run down and dated looking.

“I have stayed at this hotel before, the rooms have been updated and remodeled but the building itself is very dated looking and could really use some refurbishing/remodeling.”

• Loved the new building.
• Hated being in the old building.

“All in all I would have much rather preferred to be in the newly remodeled building but the rooms in the old building were sufficient. The beds are extremely comfortable but the general area and parking lot were very unsafe lots of vagrants.”

• Comfortable bedding and down-like comforters. Refrigerator in the room.
• Moldy shower curtain, pillows very flat.

“The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Location close to various attractions. Moldy shower curtain a big turn-off in an otherwise clean and comfortable environment.”

• Non-smoking rooms were still very smoky.

• Hotel staff, across the street in Ambassador hotel, friendly, nobody in this hotel.
• Horrible beds, dirty, smelled, loud, walls very thin, kept up all night on a Sunday.

“Hotel is a low class dump, should not be used by your company. Of course I told a representative from your company this after they booked it and I researched it, but my complaint was dealt with by doing nothing. Asked to be contacted by phone and was only contacted by email, your company is a joke. Don't claim to be interested in customer service and then only respond with a impersonal email. Hotel would be fine if cleaned up and new beds put in, but the noise factor would still be a problem. The walls shook when anyone with in 4 doors closed their door. This hotel is below 1 star, one star is Motel 6, cheap but clean, and not in neighborhoods where you would not even consider walking outside at night. Had fine luck with your company in the past on 1 star hotels.”

• Not a single thing.
• Horribly unsafe neighborhood, not downtown Milwaukee.

“The neighborhood is not a safe one and should not be considered as downtown Milwaukee. There were homeless people in the parking lot when I arrived, garbage littering the lot, unclean.”

• Nice bar, nice location.
• Room TV didn't work, phone either. Terrible parking.

“I actually was placed in the Ambassador hotel which was owned by the same people and located right across the street. Beautiful old hotel, but was in the process of being refurbished. However it has a long way to go before it will be a nicer place.”

• Helpful staff, inexpensive, quick drive to bead show.
• Elevator smelled bad.

“Located within driving distance of downtown Milwaukee. The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. The room had poor lighting. I liked the refrigerator and microwave included in the room. Lots of room for clothes but needed more hangers. Parking was across the street with fenced lot. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the hotel was out of business.”

• Warm welcome and convenient parking and the newspaper and HBO
• I have no complaints
