“It was clean and comfortable and conveniently located for my purposes. The continental breakfast was nice. Downsides: fan issue mentioned above. Horrible view with a big truck parked in front of my window the whole time. Further, half of the window was badly etched-just looked filthy even if it wasn't-which was a turn-off.”

“It was easy to check-in. The staff was nice. We were pretty much just there to sleep, so it wasn't like we were looking for anything fancy. The strange thing was on our 2nd day there, when were going out sight seeing, they were changing the locks on the doors. When we got back late that night we had to have our cards re-keyed. Then when we got back into our rooms (my husband and I had one room, my dad had another) there was sawdust on the floor from where they drilled the doors. Plus I requested both rooms be non-smoking but my dad ended up with a smoking room - and they were completely booked so we couldn't get him another room. He bought some Febreze and sprayed the crap out of his room. The rooms were clean (visibly) and the bed was very comfortable, which is a lot to say for me because I never sleep well in hotel beds. The hotel was in great proximity to Chicago. It only took us about 20-25 minutes to get to my sister's apartment taking I-55, with traffic. If you're just looking for a place to sleep that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, that's in close proximity to the city, this is it. But if you're looking for luxury then go somewhere else. Also, there is a Denny's right down the road if you miss the continental breakfast like we did every morning. We're late sleepers!”

“For the price I paid, La Quinta willow brook was a reasonable choice. It was convenient to get to with a Denny's and a super target minutes away by foot. Rooms were a little dated but clean. Road noise was a little intrusive but OK.”

“Was disappointed when got there and offered a non-smoking king or a smoking double. With 4 people, the king wasn't going to work. Hotel didn't offer air freshener or anything. Hotel was acceptable.”

“If you want to stay at this hotel and you do not check early at any cost. I left a day earlier than expected and the assistant general manager absolutely refused to give me a receipt. On top of that they charged my credit card a day even though I checked out by 5 am a day early. Rooms were adequate. For the most part the staff was subpart. Would not recommend or stay again.”

“Would stay again, but would ask to see my room before I did paperwork then change if not up to standards. My room wasn't as clean as I like it, but my brothers room was very clean. The free breakfast was quite good. Better than what I've paid $10 -$12 for. Staff very, very helpful and nice.”
