• I left my wallet, called 3 days later, and it was found and returned intact. Exceptional.
• Fortunately I dad my own DSL card as their DSL was $12.95 per day. DSL should be included.

“Clean, lots of pillows, easy access, great restaurants and shopping across the street. I would stay again.”

• Located near shopping, restaurants and toll way, HD plasmas.
• Small pillows, lame atmosphere at bar with poor hor'deurves.

• Only had an outdoor pool.

• I liked that I was greeted as I entered the hotel. I also enjoyed the pool on the rooftop while watching the fireworks!
• Hotel does not have a Jacuzzi!

• The valet/bell man was super nice.
• Hair in bed linens and it wasn't mine.

“Have to pay for in room internet and does not have wireless except in lobby! Dirty linens changed by extremely angry maid after I asked them to be changed because of hair found under the covers when I was ready to get in bed! (Icky) maid did not knock in the morning and just walked in; thank goodness I was already dressed! There was not a dead bolt on the door! The manager just said he was sorry for the dirty sheets and the non knocking maid, he did suggest that I did not hear her knock even though I was standing in from of the door! Not a good experience! Will not stay there ever again! The door man was the only good thing about this place.”

“our stay at the renaissance fell short of what we were expecting. At check-in, they didn't have the rooms we had requested. Our room was next to the stairs and there was a party going on two floors up. now, mind you, I was a resident assistant during college, and the noise we experienced was a throwback to these years - I wish I had had a box fan to block it out. We were looking forward to a dip in the pool, but alas, the pool was closed and there wasn't a hot tub (although they suggested we could go to the sister hotel - Marriott - to sit in their hot tub). For a renaissance hotel, I was very disappointed.”

• The staff was fantastic! Room was very comfortable and relaxing. Checkout was at 1:00, which was awesome.
• Ugly carpet.

• The location is tremendous. It is so close to so many things and easy to get to.
• The room was too warm and I could only get it cool enough by turning it off.

• The room was very nice and the bed and linens were excellent.
• The heating didn't seem to work well - it was so hot, but we couldn't seem to adjust the temp. Had to open the window (December in Chicago!).

“All in all it was a great hotel. I would stay there again.”

• Fresh complimentary coffee and scones delivered to our room with our wakeup call.
• The air conditioning could not be turned on if the outside temp was 55 or below. Our room was too warm at night.

“Lovely hotel just recently refurbished that was completely non-smoking. Large, nicely furnished rooms. Next to an upscale mall & easy to find. Would definitely stay here again.”

“What a terrific place! The service was great, the room was very comfortable, and the bed was the best. Their morning coffee/wake up service was a very nice touch in the morning too. We would definitely go back again.”

• We were made to feel very special-staff was helpful and engaging.
• Nothing.

“Attractive decor, great exercise facility, wonderful roof top pool, fluffy white down comforters and pillows, complimentary morning coffee and hot chocolate delivered to room (and newspaper). Rooms were not large, but adequate for our needs. Located next to the Oak brook Mall and the Cheesecake Factory. Delightful!”

• Spectacular location next to Oak Brook Mall and very attentive staff.
• Lobby was very small and was unable to locate the laundry facilities.

• The bed and linens were awesome, as were the bath products.
• Bigger glasses needed for the citrus water located in the lobby.
