• Clean, nice looking wedding parties.
• Pool was under construction.

“Nice, clean, roomy, comfortable, and a friendly staff. Not wild about the valet guys. They placed my keys on my car when I ran in quick to check in. Just because it's not a Lexus, doesn't mean I want it scratched.”

• Mall is close by, staff was very friendly, its quiet and comfortable.
• The swimming pool was out of order due to renovation, they were not able to provide one king bed room and provided us with 2 bed room.

“Overall my experience at this hotel was very nice although I was disappointed to see the pool was being renovated. But they accommodated by giving us a complimentary card to use the pool at a nearby park district and arranged transportation. my stay was very nice. the room was clean and staff was very accommodating.”

• Comfortable clean room. Very nice bathroom.
• We were so far away from the entry. And the parking lot is quite a hike too.

• Carpeting made it look dated.

• Rooms were new.
• Hotel was too hard to get to, and parking.

“The hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, the service was nice. Loved the flat screen, the bathroom and vanities. I also loved what appeared to be an Eco-friendly environment. The inexpensive bottled water was a nice touch as well.”

• The hotel was home away from home. Loved it.

“I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know. The valet service was great and the front desk person ell was so well trained and professional. I liked the location and the home away from home atmosphere. It didn't hurt being close to all of the major highways and the mall.”

• The location, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the food and the workout facilities.

• Great value for the price - unique - beautiful location and design – clean.
• Nothing - it was perfect.

“Outstanding! A hidden gem on the beautiful McDonald's corp campus - probably best for business traveler or adult couples although I did see some young families and it has a nice pool - Feels more like part of McDonald's corporate rather than a Hyatt - the sign outside simply says The Lodge and the building looks like the rest of the campus buildings - Frank Lloyd Wright style with low lines and lots of stone -Large modern clean rooms with great views - very quiet, with excellent staff - I would go back in an instant!”

• Walking trail was closed for winter.

• Great location, quiet, great fitness center.

“Hotel appears to be used primarily as a dormitory for McDonald's trainees so they sell off the unused rooms. The hotel was very quiet. Front desk help were extremely professional and helpful. On site restaurants were better than average. Great location, a little off the beaten path but still only minutes away from great shopping, dining, etc.”

• I liked the professionalism and the newly renovated and designed rooms.
• I did not like that we had to pay for use of the fitness center as well as per person and not per room.

“The hotel was wonderful. Its within minutes of two shopping malls and many nice restaurants. I love how the hotel is set apart in a nice woodsy area. The staff and promptness of service is also excellent. However, I did not like that there were no parking spaces at the main entrance. There were only a few spaces that were for valet parking. Also, the regular parking lot is at least a 3-5 minutes walk to the main entrance.”
