• Location was convenient.
• Decor was rather outdated, but okay for cost of room.

“The cost was very reasonable for a Chicago area motel. It was adequate for what we needed for this trip.”

• Clean with wireless, pool, hot tub, food. All I needed!
• 2 miles from interstate in bedroom neighborhood, but who cares.

“I'd stay here again and again each time I visit my client nearby. Nothing extravagant, but everything clean and as expected. And I usually stay in nice places, so I was happy that this turned out well. Wireless internet, some rooms had refrigerator and microwaves. We had three rooms total.”

• The spacious rooms.
• The whirlpool was not by the pool.

• Very clean, close to big cities but located in a nice smaller community.
• None.

“A great family friendly place to stay. Great breakfast, very clean (and we are picky about this in hotels), nice pool and friendly helpful staff. We've only been back 3 days and have already recommended it to friends traveling to Chicago.”

• The free breakfast buffet had a great variety including several hot, freshly cooked items that varied daily.
• The whirlpool was separate from the swimming pool, and the water pressure in the whirlpool jets was so high that it hurt.

“Our family of four stayed for two nights when we came to visit museums, etc in Chicago. The drive to and from the Chicago area was reasonable and well worth it, free parking, free hot breakfast buffet, swimming pool, and hot tub. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the hotel had a comfortable atmosphere. The dining area was very nice. It was also very convenient to have a computer w/internet available in lobby area - we used it to check times and prices for some last minute visits we decided to make. Our room was a nice, average room. We would come to this hotel again.”

• The location in the west suburbs was convenient. Breakfasts and happy hours were nice. It was a good hotel giving there was not a bar or restaurant.
• Would be nice to have more restaurants within a few miles of the hotel.

“Very clean. Excellent family accommodations. Well worth the money spent. If you are traveling on a budget. This is the place to go. Having a full buffet breakfast included with the room is a definite plus.”

• Excellent buffet for breakfast.
• The room was too cold even with the setting all the way up and fan on low it was very cold--of course it was -8 also outside.

“Nice hotel beds were queen size had a hook up for a computer also had a refrigerator microwave coffee and hairdryer in the room. Was also on the ground level. Only negative besides the lack of warmth was no ventilation in the bathroom-exhaust fan.”

• The hot water went out sat. Night but by sun. Morning they had it repaired.

“This was a family Christmas party. Club House Inn was a great place for our large family to gather. The breakfast was great and the grandkids loved the pool and the hot tub.”

• We loved the suite we had for the family and value.
• The layout of the breakfast room was not good.

“The location and value of the hotel was perfect. We had a suite which gave my husband and I a bedroom separate from the kids. We also had a kitchenette which allowed us to be self-sufficient. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was not just continental but a full breakfast, and very good. We will come back.”

• This hotel was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Breakfast was very nice.
• There wasn't anything I did not like.

“This hotel was very accommodating. The setting was beautiful with a beautiful courtyard to enjoy each evening. The kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet had numerous choices. It was easy to find in a quiet suburb with plenty of local restaurants to go to. We will definitely go back the next time we go to Chicago.”

• No elevators, pool was too cold.

“Our focus was on a place to stay a reasonable distance from Chicago. The staff was marginally attentive at best but our room was kept nice for two nights. No elevator for the second floor guests with lots of bags. The breakfast buffet was nice but more seating was needed at times. The pool was too cold. Overall not a bad experience. No frills, more for business or just passing through.”

• Does not have refer or microwave, all hotels have one or both for the price you charge.

“I stayed 3 days, each day they did not replace coffee, cream or sugar. I drink regular and would have like to been able to make it all 3 days in the room. Also, the complimentary, lotion, shampoo was never left the last 2 days of my stay. Since I paid the same rate every day everyone should be entitled to the so called freebees everyday, towels are very thin. This hotel has gone down in quality every year and I have stayed there for 4 or 5 years. I'm looking another in the area. I'm a senior during both leisure and business twice a year in the oak brook area.”

“For the price and location the hotel was a nice find. It was about a 40 minute drive away from downtown. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was a perk!”

• No place for suitcase except on desk. No luggage rack, no sideboard. Linens smelled of smoke.

• Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

“This hotel is a good family hotel offering free full breakfast each morning, as well as drinks and snacks in the evening that catered to the whole family. Indoor heated swimming pool and spa was very enjoyable, as well as plenty of poolside towels and seating available. Good area near many restaurants and attractions.”
