• Like the apartment type facility.
• $10 fee to have two beds in room.

“I called to make sure we could get 2 beds, there was a $10 per day charge for this, however, when we arrived there was only a smoking room with 2 beds. I had problems living in a smoky room. I feel if you advertise you accommodate two people that should be the case and if they don't sleep together, two beds should be provided.”

• Surcharge for room with 2 beds.

“Night staff was not helpful, but day staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. Having kitchens in each is real pus.”

• Bed and chair very, very, very hard and uncomfortable.

“This was a reasonably priced hotel located within fifteen minutes from the forest park blue line going into Chicago. Stove did not work, maid service only once a week, the absolute worst bed I have ever slept on (actually slept on the floor the last week, because I couldn't stand the neck and back pains that resulted), staff is almost non existent, and the internet that comes with the room at a charge, rarely worked, and when it did, you would be kicked off and have to go through a laborious process of apologizing and getting approval to get back on, if you used it for anything beyond basic email (kicked off for watching can news clips), as the WiFi network was dated, and limited.”

• The hotel was clean.
• The walls were white and floors vinyl.

“Extended Stay America was clean, but the walls were stark white and floors commercial vinyl tile-no carpet. The mattresses were hard and cheap. But it was quiet, clean and in a safe location.”

• Liked the kitchenette and the corner room with windows that opened.
• Bath door kind of grimy and pillows were horrible.

“Overall a fine basic hotel. If you are looking for a long term stay this is a good option. If it is a short visit is warned there is no linen service on a daily basis. This didn't bother me as Id prefer to conserve water, etc. And not get fresh every day, but some travelers might prefer a true "hotel" experience.”
