• My room was very clean and comfortable with nice appointments.

“I was in for a one night business trip and found the room to be comfortable and well equipped. The only thing that would have made it better is wireless Internet in the room. I am in the cleaning business and this room was clean even to my standards. Excellent place to stay if you are in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel for business travelers.”

• Clean, quiet, comfortable bed.
• TV seemed very dated and wasn't conducive to watch while laying in bed.

“There is construction at this property. I was awakened at 7 am due to hammers banging. It was not cool. I was, then, awakened the next morning by screaming children, running up and down the hall. When I called the front desk, the parents of said children banged on my door and cussed at me.”

• The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. Great location.
• The only thing I would change would be to number the outside entrances to make locating rooms easier.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Cookies were great. Lobby was open and inviting yet you could still find a quiet corner for a phone call. Beds were fantastic.”

• The heat was terrible. Either too hot or too cold, couldn't regulate.

“Good for business travelers, but not real romantic for couples traveling. Hotel is very plain, just the basics.”

• Asked for sheets for sofa bed. Received them promptly but were damp.

“The desk personnel were excellent. They helped us with taxi service and with eating arrangements. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with all our inquiries.”

“I do like Marriott, they are in most cases well maintained and the support staff is very helpful. The rooms in Oakbrook seems to be smaller than usual. It reminds me of a micro tel.”

• It was clean, ample parking, had a pool and hot tub.
• The key to enter the hotel did not work at first. No place to really walk outside.

“It was a nice basic facility. It was close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. There was ample parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate but a little small. There was enough light to see what you were doing. You basically had to drive to everywhere you wanted to go. There wasn't really anything within walking distance that we noticed.”

• Only ten or fifteen minutes from downtown Chicago and located in a nice area.
• Hotel was somewhat difficult to find initially/very little signage.

“Overall, this was a nice, clean hotel for the value and I would definitely stay again when I¿m traveling in Chicago. The room/bed was very comfortable. Pool area was nice for families and the courtyard is peaceful/ relaxing. Very close to downtown Chicago, which was also a plus?”
