• It was clean and in good condition. Staff very friendly and room exceeded expectations!
• The only thing I could say is that sometimes the coffee area was messy but people who stayed did that.

“I liked this hotel. It was a very nice place to stay for my long weekend! The room was more than comfortable, nice size and the bed was very inviting! The bathroom was spacious and had very nice mirrors. I think I only missed not having a small fridge for left over food but it was not that big of an inconvenience. Overall I would recommend anyone to stay there and I would most certainly stay again and again!”

• The front desk hostess provided above and beyond service. Simply put the rooms/lobby was updated, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast.
• The computer in the main lobby was out of order.

• Very convenient location to shop, even trip to Chicago within 40 mins.
• Entrance need to be remodeled little bit!

“Nice remodeled room with complementary breakfast was very impressive. Especially the selection of breakfast choice was better than any else where. Also, nice location to shop or visit to Chicago. The Outlet mall was within 30 mins away from hotel and to Chicago was only 40min or less away. Room was very clean and nice. overall, the price for stay and quality was outstanding! highly recommend to anyone who trip to Chicago area or Oakbrook area!”

• Clean, quiet, breakfast.
• Internet stopped working after 1st day, slow.

“While this Hampton was okay. I feel a Courtyard or Hilton Garden Inn is at that level. This felt more like a 2 star like a step above a Red Roof Inn.”

• I liked the continental breakfast and complimentary internet services.
• I did not like the quality of the rooms. They were run down and outdate. I was not satisfied with the customer service.

“When I arrived at the hotel, I was not greeted by the hotel representative. He asked me for my id and credit card. Without asking my permission, he swiped my credit card which caused me to occur unjust fees. The hotel rooms were also outdated and did not match the hotel's outside appearance. The outside appearance was nicely manicured and well cared for.”

• Parking was free, great location, bed was very comfortable.
• It was very cold in the hallways and was hard to get my room as cool.

“Great area, near excellent shopping mall. I would stay here again. The staff was friendly. I wish the breakfast was a little more but it was free so I can't complain.”

“This is a comfortable hotel in a good location, with restaurants nearby. It has a very pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere. It is good for business travelers and families. It is conveniently located in terms of distance from the highway.”

• No swimming pool, limited breakfast selection.

“I like this hotel much, especially the receptionist. We had changed our room for 3 times, the receptionist was very kind to match what we needs. The room was very clean, big enough for 3 of us.”

• The staff could not have been better. They went out of their way!
• No pool!

“If you are on business or have little time to spend at the hotel; this hotel was perfect. The lobby area and breakfast were terrific. The room was clean and nice. The staff was also great! I just wish they had a pool for the kids.”

• For the price, it was an excellent value.
• No thermostat to control the heat.

“I had a room with 2 double beds. The room itself was small compared to other rooms I've stayed in. The bathroom was tiny. The complimentary breakfast was good. I would stay at this hotel again, but only if I were traveling alone. The room was too small to be shared. Good place to stay if you enjoy shopping.”

• Hotel was very comfortable, warm and nice atmosphere.
• On my last day, shower water was not hot. and there was some problem with the heater.

• Very responsive cleaning staff.
• Television was sub par.

“I was quite pleasantly surprise to see the lobby area so well appointed for a Hampton Inn. As per my stays at other Hampton Inns, the staff was kind and responsive. The rooms are fairly small, but it is a Hampton Inn, so I was fine with that. I was, however, quite disappointed the television in the room did not have RCA input jacks to allow my kids to hook up their game system. In this day and age where flat screen LCD TVs are moderately priced, my expectation would be that the TV in the room would at least be equipped to handled the input of game systems and/or Personal Movie Players.”

“Overall, this hotel was very clean, very upscale. For it's rating, I would've rated much higher than the normal. Great price as well as great service! They even have books to show where the local restaurants and shopping centers are. The staff is always ready to meet you standards!”

• The location is amazingly convenient to all of the Western Suburbs.
• There is no swimming pool.

“The location was perfect for my wife's shopping trips to Oak Brook and Yorktown, and it was close to my destination in Naperville. Being right off of I-88 and I-355 made for quick travel as well. The Wi-Fi had good signals, the breakfast was much better than a standard continental, and there is plenty of parking. Overall, this is an excellent value.”

• The staff was friendly.
• Hotel rooms are not well ventilated. The only way to receive fresh air was to leave the room door open.

“This hotel was one of the worst I have stayed in. The rooms were very small with no ventilation. We had to prop the door open to get any fresh air. In addition, we were forced to change rooms when a heater started to smoke. Breakfasts were over processed and completely inedible.”

• Did not like it I had an allergic reaction to something in the bed.
• The bed.

“It is ok it does not even begin to compare to the Hyatt place which is blocks away and much nicer. We would much prefer to stay there and hope to get that when we try for Lombard, 2 1/2star hotel again. We do not want to stay at Hampton inn again.”
