  • Bright cheerful colors of room.
  • All was fine.

“After driving 12 hours (getting grid lock traffic in Chicago) I was tired. A very relaxing rest.”

  • Do not have Microwave in room or when you ask for one they don't have that in whole hotel?

“Hotel without a microwave.”

  • Very clean, neat and with good interior design.
  • Nothing really.

“Good value, clean rooms, friendly staff, free internet and very cute design.”

  • The decor of the hotel rooms were nice. The rooms were clean.
  • Hallways smelled very musty. Elevator did not always work.

“The room was clean and the decorations were nice. The bathroom was updated and also clean. It is an older building and it showed on the walls in the room. There were some cracks and spots that looked wet. The sliding door to the balcony was very old and you could barely see through the glass and the seal is broken. The hallways are very musty smelling along with the elevator. The elevator also did not work one of the days while we were there. I did not feel as though this was a 3 star hotel. It is also not in Schaumburg and that is the location that I had requested.”

  • Cute decor in the room, great toiletries
  • Beds were too high off the floor for younger children. Used extra pillows as cushions.

“One of the better selections I received through Priceline. Room was tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds with more pillows than I knew what to do with. Staff was friendly and recommended a good off site restaurant for breakfast as I didn't want to pay the prices for their on-site fancy restaurant.”

  • Amenities available, location, staff.
  • Nothing.

“Nice hotel, friendly staff, everything we needed.”

  • The pool and decor were really nice.
  • The hotel touted a spa experience in the bathroom, which was merely a shower!

“Very nice for us, but not the luxury you would associate with a 3 star hotel. Plus, the elevators and floor to where we parked were filthy for days. Looked like a dump from the outside.”

  • Great decor.
  • A
    little noisy between rooms.

“Very Nice. The design team at this hotel really knew how to do it right. I felt like I was in the tropics. The laminate hard wood floors in the room was a nice touch.”

  • Beds were comfortable.
  • Outside was rundown, small TV.

“If you can get past the hotel exterior, it is nice, but I don't believe it is a 3 star hotel. I would assume that it would be a 2.5 star at the most.”

  • Very friendly staff.
  • CBS (Channel 2) had distorted audio and picture.

“I enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff. Always a smile. Rooms were
cleaned very well.”

  • Staff was very friendly and helpful and and were concerned with our overall experience. They volunteered info and tips about the area.

“The staff could not have been any friendlier or accommodating. The hotel was nice and quiet. I wouldn't say it was an upscale hotel, but it was fine for our needs.”

  • Felt like I was at a beach resort in Florida.

“Beach themed hotel with warm open spaces, incredible rooms and fantastic service. This hotel exceeds every expectation.”

  • Room decor was unusual and pleasant.
  • Elevator did not work one night. Leaves in the lower lobby for entire 3 day stay. Exterior tacky.

“This hotel is touted as a 3.5 star. I would consider it 2.5. The exterior colors and design are extremely tacky and not appropriate to a northern climate. It would fit in better in Miami Beach. The single elevator did not work late one evening. Fortunately I was able to use my cell phone to call for assistance. Otherwise I would have had to walk outside on a very cold night and walk around the hotel to the front door. The lower interior lobby was not swept during my three day stay. In the hallway was a plastic bag under a table that remained for my 3 day stay. While the common areas were not well attended to my room was clean and pleasant. The front desk attendants were pleasant. I was disappointed that no breakfast was provided.”

  • Pool area and computers in lobby.
  • Two of three staff we interacted with was terrible.

“Outside of hotel looked old, but inside was nice. Upon check-in, hotel front desk receptionist was busy eating and did not even tell me what room I was in. I was told it would be an additional $10 to get 2 beds rather than a king. Evening receptionist was really helpful. Room was nice, but there was a band-aid on the bed sheet, only one packet for one cup of regular coffee (and one decaf.) The hotel didn't sell coffee until 7:00 AM. Alarm clock blinks a flashing light, rather than sounding - good thing we set our phone. The pool area was really warm - great for our winter stay; wished there was a hot tub. In fact, wished there was a tub in the room - shower only. Free computer access and printing was a great perk.”

  • I liked the theme for the rooms, they made me feel like
    I was near a beach.
  • The matresses could be a little more plush but not bad as is.

“The hotel staff is very accomodating and they do their best to make your stay as relaxing as possible. If they put better matresses on the bed this could be a 3 plus star hotel.”

  • The decor was unique.
  • The debit card hold and release policy.

“Nice room, don't know about location in Schaumburg, seemed quite a ways from schaumburg.”

  • The furniture was nice.
  • The staff was not helpful, no towels, no coffee available even when asked.

“This hotel was below my expectations in the fact that they all seemed in fear of housekeeping. When asked for coffee, they were completely out and when asked for towels, we were told we had to wait until 6:00am the next morning for anything from housekeeping. When I suggested they get coffee packs from unoccupied room oh no! They could do that because housekeeping would get mad. Better to have customer mad than housekeeping? When I did call at 6:00am I was told they would come in until 7:30am! We had to leave before then, so very frustrating experience.”

  • Rooms were very nice, pool was warm and staff was friendly.

“This was a nice alternative to the typical hotel. The rooms were great! They were colorful and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly. We were absolutely pleased to stay here and will stay here again.”

  • Boutique style rooms were funky and fun - loved this hotel!

“I was very pleased with the close proximity to the mall and other shopping in the area. The rooms were very nice, clean, and beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We left the next morning feeling like we'd found a little jewel of a hotel in the midst of the Chicago metro area. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!”

  • Outside looks were run down.

“Overall a good experience.”
