• Great location and only minutes from downtown and many attractions.

“very family friendly all the way around and kids ate for free. Pool area clean with family friendly hours.Food very good and extremely reasonable. This hotel is slightly out of it's prime-one ice machine worked on four floors but overall still a very fine place to take the family.”

• Very clean, bed comfortable, nice little pub - bartenders were friendly!
• Front desk staff, horrible, must be Holiday Inn rejects working here.

“Room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's location is right on top of a highway, if you don't have the AC or fan on the noise is very pronounced. You are located in an area where within 2-3 miles there are numerous restaurants and pubs. There is a nice little bar with reasonably priced drinks in the hotel. Worst thing why I wouldn't stay here again is the front desk staff is very slow, are clueless on any question you ask them and will make you frustrated when they can't give you a straight up answer.”

• Rooms were clean and pool / whirlpool were nice.
• No continental breakfast.

“Directions to the town of Itasca were very confusing and when we called the hotel for help with directions they were unable to help. This was very disappointing as we spent over an hour trying to find hotel.”

• Location was convenient, just where I needed to be.
• Not worthy of a 3 star hotel. The floor and room smelled of smoke. Fitness room was had very poor quality equipment.

“Nothing about the hotel worth speaking good about. Staff was courteous, but the facilities were poor. The whole floor we stayed on smelled of cigarette smoke. One of the worst hotels that I have stayed at.”

• The location was great. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
• The beds were like sleeping on the floor they were really hard. The gym equipment could also use some updating.

“The hotel was really nice. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. Would accommodate any of your needs if it is available to do so. The morning Breakfast was great. The rooms we nice and spacious, but the beds are lacking comfort. They were hard Mattresses to sleep on. Our room faced the Hwy, but unless you opened the curtains you wouldn't even know. We also had am Ice machine located right out side our room, but you didn't hear it and it the beds were comfy you could easily sleep till noon if you like that. Very quiet hotel, but it is kind friendly. It has a pool that was nice to use and they would enjoy that.”

• The hotel was easy to get to from the highway and was near shopping centers.
• The hotel had blocked TVs from playing DVD players. You had to buy a movie; you could not bring your own.

“I have a small DVD player I bring with me on business trips. I was surprised to find out the hotel makes a point of blocking the DVD feature from the TV. It's not a big issue, but I won't be staying at Holiday Inns from now on for this reason.”

• Friendly, clean, comfortable, good value. Close to Mall and other attractions. Food & service in restaurant very good. and a nice room.
• Indoor Pool was a little cold, but it did snow that day so that may be why.

“Would stay there again. Friendly, clean comfortable and a good weekend value. Very good food & service in restaurant. The grand kids really liked it.”

• The dining experience was good, not exceptional though.
• My room smelled like smoke on the 5th night and no one seemed to care a whole lot.

“I do not recommend. The staff was for the most part, unfriendly and uncaring. The manager gave me 1, get that, 1, free breakfast, for (1!) person, after having to take 7 days worth of stuff and move it to another room when my kids and I smelled cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. Also, there were drunken smokers in the pool area who broke a glass beer bottle with my kids around. Not worth the money I paid.”

• Very spacious and clean, everything that I needed was there.
• The light right as you walk in the door was burnt out; the air/furnace system was too loud and cranky.

“This was a very nice hotel, very spacious; I had everything I needed in my room, lots of pillows, and a table for my laptop. I just think they need to do a little better with their maintenance.”

• Very attentive staff.
• Business center did not have printer operational, carpets were stained in hall ways.

“Great hotel overall. Cosmetically challenged from a carpet standpoint. Wireless access point on the fourth floor was poor.”

• They moved us from a good room on day one to a slum room that was musky and paint peeling, not fit for a dog.

“Day one was a good hotel, but move to a bad room and this was the worst. They said there was a leak, but before we could get out, someone was there for the room. So this was the last time I go to this hotel.”

• Easy to find.

“I called you from hotel not hardly any rooms filled so they had plenty but gave me a room next to busy interstate with huge windows to keep me up all night. Even desk clerk said it was the worst room in the hotel because of noise. By the time I realized that I couldn't get to sleep night was all but over.”

• Large pool and hot tub.
• Poor cosmetic maintenance.

“Although comfortable and having 3 star amenities, the hotel was not maintained at an acceptable level. The carpets in the common areas were badly stained and there was peeling plaster and cracked tiles. I would not stay here again.”

• Price was a good value for what you received.
• They did not offer fox news as an option on their cable.

“Check-in and check-out was quick. Breakfast buffet was not that appealing. Staff was friendly. Coffee pot in room did not function, but they replaced it the next morning. Housekeeping did a thorough job of cleaning room.”

• Old. Elevators not working. Terrible noise insulation.

“ Rooms were dirty, dated, and loud. Could not hear TV in room because noise coming thru windows from outside. I will not use I know there is a Holiday Inn in the region I am looking to get a hotel.”
