• No pool.

“Good location off Elgin-O'Hare Expressway,1/2 hour from downtown Chicago. Room may need some updating. No complaints for the price, was clean.”

• Location is great for me, I liked the kitchenette, spacious room.
• My only complaint is the internet server is not 100% reliable.

• Clean, very friendly staff.
• Only one entrance off major streets.

“Great staff and the room has all the amenities that a business traveler could need, such as iron, refrigerator, and coffee maker, stove top, etc. Also a great location.”

• I really liked having a fridge to keep food cold and the kitchenette to be able to reheat or prepare food.
• I had no dislikes or issues with our stay.

“We stayed in your hotel just during the night because of spending time with our children. I do have to say that the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet so we got a very good night sleep even with a dog in the next room. The host at the desk told me if there were any problems then he would get us another room, which I really appreciated but ended up not being necessary.”

“The front desk personal was very rude to us. The day when we checked out we unfortunately forgot our cell phone charger in the room. When we called the hotel within 2 hours after the checkout to get information in obtaining the charger, the lady at the front desk (from her accent she sounded Chinese) spoke very rudely and cut the conversation abruptly. Overall the stay at Extended stay America was good but this incident was quite upsetting. The front desk needs to learn to be more courteous and considerate for their customers and learn not to speak rudely. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to friends or family.”

“For a short stay, or even a long one, if you want a simple clean location, with all the basic amenities of home, ESA is the place for you. It's a great idea for groups or individuals when you are visiting for the sake of the place, and not the hotel itself.”

• Friendly and helpful staff.
• Drab decor and totally lacked ambiance.

“Overall this hotel provided sufficient lodging needs as a retreat from the terribly bad weather. The friendly staff compensated for the amenities that were lacking. Fortunately I stopped to get food before arriving at the hotel, since there is no restaurant in the hotel or close to the hotel, other than a nearby Wendy's.”

• Very clean and very functional, loved the kitchenette.
• No breakfast.

“The room and the rest of the hotel was clean. The room was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was very practical. I realize this is an extended stay hotel with a kitchen, but for my business travel, a continental breakfast (even if it was a danish and coffee) would have been nice.”

• The hotel was very quiet and convient in the inroom amenities.
• The receptionist during checkout was not very friendly! the pillow was very soft and had no support.

“This hotel is great for ppl who travel and dislike to dine outside. It is good for up to 2ppl comfortably. Not recommended for family with children.”
