• Very nice rooms, nice amenities. Flat panel TV, kitchenette were excellent.

“An excellent breakfast in the morning, an LCD TV, high speed internet (wired and wireless), very comfortable bed. What more could you ask? This place was great.”

• Brand new, and tastefully appointed. Large TV and beautiful kitchen area.
• Remodeling.

“We were very pleased with our room and the location. However, when we went to use the pool- the room was closed for remodeling. The breakfast buffet was remarkable. Lovely lobby with fireplace.”

• Room was a suite with kitchenette, flat panel TV & DVD player, cute and very clean.
• It was under construction while we were there and the hallways smelled of paint and had construction dust.

“Apparently this hotel is being converted from Hawthorne Suites to a Hyatt. I imagine we got the great deal because it was under construction. It's located nearby Woodfield Mall. The room was cute, clean, and comfortable with great amenities. Free wireless with a workstation, kitchenette, DVD player, free breakfast. Unfortunately, the pool/Jacuzzi was closed while we were there, but they did offer free access to Ballys with room key. It was a fantastic deal for the money, and the hotel will be top-notch once the construction is complete.”

• The room set-up was nice. Kitchenette (hardwood floors).
• Rude employee first night. Construction.

“The place needs to replace an employee. The man at the front desk acted as if we were bothering him. Did not apologize for ANY inconvenience whatsoever that we had. Our cable TV was out, called him for help. He told us to look up a number myself for assistance (instead of giving it to me). Couldn't find the number, had to call him back. He seemed annoyed cause I couldn't find it and he didn't have it handy. Called the number he gave me, they couldn't help; they only dealt with internet connection. Told him we wanted new room. Had to wait for keys, no apologies at all. New room was fine, but carpet was dirty. Not picky and can adapt so no complaints. Didn't sleep till 3am. Was awoken by very loud drilling at 8:45 AM in the room right above our heads. Called front desk to ask them to stop, said they couldn't and if we'd like a new room (Different employee, much nicer). Declined because we were checking out at noon anyway.”

• We had car trouble and the shuttle driver &night desk clerk were most helpful.
• The day desk clerk seemed to be overworked as she was to busy to be helpful.

“Good overall experience. We come to the area every year as my daughter makes blankets for children in the hospitals and disturbs them.”

• Very clean and convenient; staff was great.
• No coffee maker in room; breakfast buffet was so.

“Clean, bright, 2 blocks away from a huge array of stores and restaurants. Close to 290. Room was immaculate with small kitchenette.”

• Rooms are large and spacious. Staff did everything we ask to make us comfortable.
• The only problem we had was the TV didn't turn far enough to view it comfortably.

“Room was large and spacious. Clean and would recommend it to our friends. Would even consider staying there at regular prices.”

• The location was good and it was a suite.
• The hotel is old and in major need of updating.

“This hotel is conveniently located in Schaumburg, and has a friendly staff. The hotel facilities appear to be in a major need of an updated. Furniture is dated, carpet worn, dishes on the table were chipped. The room was kept clean and it was a quiet stay, so it was fine in those aspects. If they updated the hotel I would stay there again.”
