• The hotel employees were very friendly.
• Continental Breakfast was 5:30 to 9:30 am, too early for me.

“It was adequate, I never saw the dining room open very early. The menu in the lounge food not bad. The room served it's purpose for sleeping.”

• Easy to get to and friendly.
• Hall carpeting very bad shape and Wi-Fi bad in room.

“Hotel is easy access to where we wanted go and was very friendly. The Wi-Fi access needs improvement and I feel that there are areas that need work.”

• Restaurant served Continental breakfast was clean and kept items stocked.
• Needs updates, upkeep and improved cleaning.

“You can tell this was a nice hotel at one time that has seen too many Packer Sundays and has not had the necessary upkeep. There is mini golf which is nice, a pool, large lobby areas. They are renovating some rooms and areas of hotel now. Bathroom in our room was nice and clean, rest of room was fair. If you need a place to stop or stay for a night this was a fair hotel for the price.”

• Location.
• The rooms were unclean, dirty carpet, a contractors hotel not business travelers - tacky best describes it.

“They spent money on the public areas and obviously do not care about putting quality furniture or carpeting in the rooms. I did no feel like it was clean at all.”

• Bathroom smelled mildew.

“This was not what I expected of a Howard Johnson Hotel. I expected that once I arrived I could relax, have a drink and dinner. Also, my room smelled in the bathroom area. Hallways were dingy. I admit I did not bring this to the attention of the hotel staff.”

• Nice facilities and activities.
• Noisy.

“Good rooms, great activities for all ages. While we were there, there was a wedding party also in the motel; as a result it was quite noisy at times, thankfully it got quiet enough to sleep later on. Overall, a nice place though.”

• Mold in bathroom. Ceiling coming down. Total lack of cleanliness. Unhelpful staff.

“This hotel totally did not meet our expectations and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone including my dog.”

• Room and people were friendly.
• Everything fun u could do there wasn't working right or at all.

“Video games most of the didn't work or if they did took your money. Pool was out and was not told about it till we got there and saw it. Restaurant is only open couple hours in the morning and thats all. We were so upset we wanted to check out and go to the hotel up the road, because nothing worked.”

• Front desk and lounge staff friendly.
• Room maintenance terrible, no vacuuming, no cleaning of coffee pot; no additional soaps etc left; cleaning staff was terrible.

“Rooms are not very clean and are not cleaned on a daily basis. Location is great. Food is ok. Lounge and front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.”

• Lots of parking.
• Our first room: mistakenly put into a room being remodeled, 2nd room: air did not work, toilets did not flush; 3rd room: adequate, air did not work well.

“This hotel did not in any way live up to its purported 2 star rating. Should be a 1 star for sure. After three different room changes, we finally had a room where the air worked, barely. There are many other hotels with a 1 star rating in close proximity that would probably be better. I will not stay at the Howard Johnson next time I visit green bay. Not recommended.”

• Dirty - it felt old and smelly.

“It needs an over haul. It is old and dirty and the room smelled. When I checked in they gave me a room that had not been cleaned. Not very nice overall.”

• Clean, quiet, convenient to the show at the casino with less cost.

“The motel was fine, they've obviously turned around what used to be a bad situation there. We were happy with our room.”

• The common areas were nicer than we expected.
• The walls were very thin, for adjoining rooms and the corridor.

“A clean, economical place to stay with spouse and/or kids, with a decent restaurant and fun activities for the kids. However, might be very noisy during Packer weekends or other crowd-drawing events.”
