“Hilton has a lot to go to make this hotel measure up to their hospitality standards. The Double Tree that I have stayed at is far superior in all categories.”

“We arrived late and went right up to our room. From our inside window we could see 2 waterfalls. The bed was the most comfortable Ive ever slept in. Free internet access and beautiful. We've already talked about coming back and taking advantage of the golf course.”

“This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were unique and very comfortable. The cave lounge played low volume techno music and was filled with Huge lava lamps. Very cool.”

“The spa was very nice and professional, though the men's room could have used a shower. Our room was good. Bed was comfortable. The TV did not swivel like other hotel TVs do and it was sort of stuffed in the corner. It was also not a flat screen. But this property definitely offered value given the nightly rate we paid. Receptionist was nice but not well informed about destinations and shopping in the Bloomingdale area. Still, we were able to relax and feel comfortable in the room. And the spa services were very therapeutic and professional. That's all we really wanted.”

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone who just wants to get away and relax, but have all the amenities, restaurants and activities near by. One unique thing is that it encompasses a romantic, family friendly and "outdoorsman" atmosphere all at once without one over powering the other. So whether you come for romance, family fun, relaxation or business the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort is the place for you.”

“In general I have had good luck at Indian Lakes in the past. This trip they were doing construction throughout the hotel. I use my room as an office when I am on the road and it was impossible to make phone calls and work on my computer with all of the noise. I called the front desk and asked how late they would be working and was given a plain "I do not know" answer. This was at 6:00 in the evening. The very next morning the noise began at 8:00am just outside my window. I think this is where they set up their power saw. I usually make phone calls in the morning and make personal visits to customer in the afternoon. I do my computer work in the evenings. This trip ended up being pretty useless as I was able to accomplish about 40% of what I usually do.”

“The resort was nice. The exterior rooms were excellent with two floor to ceiling windows. The shape of the room was unique. The bed was extremely comfortable, with down comforters and pillows. Didn't like the geese waking us up at 6:30 am, and we especially didn't like the construction. There appeared to be water damage to some of the furniture, which may be why there was lots of construction. The Cave bar was small and the drinks were just okay. Room Service is expensive, 20% charge and then the tip. The club had decent food, but walk across the way to the Sedona Grill to be wowed! The resort wanted to charge $10 per night for a mini frig. No microwave but they do have a mini bar. Would stay here again, but only in an exterior room.”

“Stayed for spouse conference held at resort - first room was overlooking atrium and was missing ceiling tiles - it took 2 hours to get another room. Second room was nice - looking over golf course. Tight hallways. In-room TV-internet access keyboard did not work - took 4 phone calls and one visit to the desk and over 4 hours to get it fixed. Room service gives you no tray cart/table. My lunch came without fork/knife (and pizza was un-cut). Front desk personnel (minus one) were rude and apparently bothered by needs from the customers. During our last night there were apparent under age kids running around with mixed drinks visible intoxicated being very loud. Vending machines were $2 a soda. Food was good - Sedona grill staff was awesome - waiter was great. Beds were comfortable, very soft. Too bad the impression was bad - I will not recommend staying there.”

“I'd take a pass unless your golfing all day and night and can not drive to the golf course from another hotel in the area. They do not have 6 restaurants, only three and the food was not good. Actually, one of the restaurants only served microwave pizza.”

“Great location for Chicago western suburb business. Lots of amenities, first class staff. Rooms are well designed and appointed. Demerits for light leaks and plumbing noise. I will stay there again if sleep is not the priority.”

“We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, and felt this was a good place to do so. White table-cloth restaurant, and cozy "cave" bar, with a sports bar for afternoon appetizers.”
