• Good value for the price.
• Extremely inconvenient road construction.

“This was a nice hotel with a warm and inviting room and pool area. The staff was friendly. There was major road construction which made travel somewhat inconvenient but not enough to make me wish I had stayed somewhere else. This is a nice property!”

• Convenient and enjoyable continental breakfast.
• We were on the lower level and could hear the walking of people in upper level late into night.

• Nice, comfortable room. Good location.
• Housekeeping- had to call to ask to have our room cleaned.

“The La Quinta, New Berlin, WI is conveniently located just off I-43. The rooms are comfortable & nicely decorated. The pool area is nice. The breakfast was fine. Housekeeping could do a better job but overall we were happy with our stay.”

• Rooms were large with very comfortable beds.
• Continental breakfast was less than stellar.

“This was a new hotel, and was done very nicely! Due to major interstate construction, getting to it was very difficult, but worth the effort. The front desk clerk was outstanding - very friendly and offered directions to bypass most of the construction. The room was huge! Lots of space to spread out which was really needed (my wife and I plus 2 kids - 11 & 14.). The room was clean, furnished very nicely, and incredibly quiet considering it was pretty full. The beds were great! Nice linens and pillows made getting a great nights sleep easy. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but more than adequate for us. The pool area was outstanding! A huge whirlpool and a very family friendly pool. Very clean and not too hot - not too cold. After a long, hot day at the hotel it was a great place to relax and have fun with the family. The only disappointment was the free continental breakfast. The quality of items was on the low side, and I would have appreciated more selections of fresh fruit. The waffles were tasty, though! We would welcome the chance to go back to this hotel we had a great time and were very impressed with the accommodations!”

• Loved that there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room!
• Pool was closed for cleaning the morning that we were hoping to use it.

“This was the 2nd of 2 hotels we stayed at during this trip and we liked this one better (and the other one was a 3 star). It was mainly due to having a microwave and fridge in the room which was very helpful since we were traveling with an 8 month old infant. We were hoping to use the pool the morning before we left, but it was closed for cleaning - it had been open the rest of the stay though and it was a Monday morning that it was closed, so I guess that would be a reasonable time to clean. There was a Texas Roadhouse restaurant within walking distance which was nice. One complaint, but not anything the hotel could control, was the road construction going on in the area, we had to take a detour to get to the hotel (the off ramp from the freeway was closed).”

• Road construction around the hotel made highway access rough.

• Road construction was a hassle, to get to it.

“The hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice, and they let us check in early. Overall, we will definitely stay here next year.”

• The bed was fantastic. I never slept better. Courteous staff, very helpful with information about the surrounding area.
• I liked everything!

“This hotel was new and upscale. The staff was courteous and helpful and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Clean and inviting with a nice pool area.
• Continental breakfast was removed promptly at stated end time even though we were still eating.

“This is an excellent hotel to stay at if you are looking for the basics (clean room, convenient location) plus a little more (small pool/spa, nice continental breakfast, internet access at computer in lobby).”

• The rooms were very large, which was wonderful.
• The blankets were slippery and slid off the beds at night.

“Overall, our stay was great. The breakfasts were very nice, with homemade waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, pastries and bread and bagels for toasting. Coffee, tea and assorted juices were also available. We were gone each day from 7:30am-10:30pm, but our nights were spent sleeping well.”

• Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
• You could tell it is a older hotel. Rust on the bathroom door, pool area not up to date.

“The hotel is in a convenient location with good restaurants nearby. The Staff was very friendly and the rooms were good if your just looking for a place to sleep. The TV didn't come in clear and the bathroom appeared old with rust on the doors. I would recommend this to business travelers or for people that don't plan on spending much time at the hotel.”
