  • Updated bedding and bath.
  • Vending area not clean and limited to ice and pop-5th floor.

“Very good access to Downtown Chicago and the airports. Much to do locally within 5-15 minute drive including discount to high end shopping. Dining for all events and reasonable family dining. Gambling within 30 minutes max.”

  • They had such an interesting lobby level, with table games etc.
  • The ice machine on 7th floor (ours) was out of order.

  • Bathroom size and appointments.
  • Lack of free online access.

“The hotel fire alarm went off at 12:45 am, for about an hour. No apology from staff, including the morning after, but they said it was a malfunction in one of the alarms. Free high speed access should be a given, as it is at almost all other PL hotels. This was a disappointment.”

  • Furniture in room was rather worn, not what expect of Wyndham

“Great overall, since I was upgraded from 2.5 to a Wyndham. This hotel was very nice overall, not what I would expect though if I paid the full juice to stay at a Wyndham. I was very satisfied.”

  • Staff was wonderful. Had a very nice restaurant and bar located in the hotel. Very quiet
  • Did not seem to have many guest. not sure how long hotel can sustain quality without guest cash flow

  • Cleaning staff knocked on the door at 7:30am, 8:30am and 9:00am. We felt rushed to get up and get out.

“Everything was great except for housekeeping knocking on the door so early. We had gotten in late and had a wake up call at 8:30am. Their was a knock at the door that woke us up at 7:30 to give us our paper, 8:30 to clean our room and 9:00 to clean our room. It seemed odd.”

  • Overall a nice hotel
  • I had to kill 3 flying bugs in the room

“The hotel, overall, was nice. The staff is not really friendly though. I had an issue with the dataport box for the internet and the staff would do nothing to help me except to tell me to call the 800# on the box. They ended up having to send a hotel engineer up to fix the box eventually. This could have been solved much quicker by the front desk if they listened to what I told them. Also, there were flying bugs in the room that I had to kill.”

“The hotel was clean and the staff was very thoughtful, helpful, and friendly. They even brought us a microwave so we could warm up milk for our baby. Some of the furnishings were beginning to show a little wear, but the thoughtful staff more than made up for it.”
