• It was very clean and the rooms were good size.
• Did not offer a continental Breakfast.

“I Thought it was a nice hotel But I thought for a 3 star hotel it would have been nicer the only thing I did not like is I wanted to be in Schulenburg and that is not what we got.”

• It was very quiet, clean and pleasant. The room was spacious with wonderful pillows.
• The room key did not open the room door 3 times in the two days and the supervisor had to use the master.

“My husband and I were in Carol Stream for a wedding. The hotel's location was close to all the goings on. It was a pleasant and enjoyable stay with friendly helpful employees. We didn't try the restaurant. The room keys (cards) did not open our room door. Each time we came in we had to go to the front desk and get them reset and sometimes those didn't work. The supervisor would come and use the master key.”

• This hotel gave me a smoking room - very bad for me!

“The front desk forced me into a smoking room that smelled horrible. This room was expensive and I could not relax. I almost left but had no where else to go.”

• Bathroom was small.

“Our family lives in Wood Dale and normally, we stay in a motel within 5-10 minute drive from them because we are back and forth. Carol Stream was too inconvenient and too expensive in gas.”

• Confusing lobby/restaurant entry doors arrangement; small lobby/checkout desk.

• I arrived early before check-in time and they hurried to get a room ready for me which was above and beyond my expectations.
• It was not close to anything unless you were doing business in that area.

“The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't say enough about them. Anything I needed, they were right there to assist me. I would give them a 4 star rating in this area. It is too bad for their location. The dining room needs some assistance. I waited almost 35 minutes for hamburger/sliders when I dined in the restaurant. When I ordered room service, the plate was overflowing and hard to eat. they do provide rides to the train which was great to get into Chicago.”

• The bed was comfortable.
• I had to wait 45 minutes because they had no record of my reservation.

“I had my printout which clearly showed I had a reservation at your hotel. I was told that in the morning, the manager would decide whether your hotel would honor my reservation.”

• Tried to help with our smoking room but did work out.
• How they say that it is a non-smoking room but it was very smoky in the room.

“How does a hotel only have one plunger in the entire hotel. That is just stupid! Any way, it was a alright hotel could have been a little cheaper for the way we were treated!”

• The hotel was confidently located and easy to find.
• The hotel was not very clean; there were police on the property twice.

“Below average but not unusual for an old holiday inn. Staff was obviously overworked, underappreciated, and less than polite. Police were called each night we were there to quell disturbance in the bar. Cleanliness of room slightly below average; cleanliness of hotel overall well below average.”

• The new suites. They were much more than I expected.
• The pool closed at 11 pm and I could not get my kids out. They did not want to leave.

“I will only suggest this hotel when traveling in the area. This hotel has a fantastic look about it. I stayed in one of their two room suites. Not only was the room completely up to date in its decor, it also had a 42' plasma TV. This hotel was so clean. From the moment I walked in the door the staff was amazing. They offered free high speed wireless internet access, a shuttle that took my family around town for free. The kids ate for free in the restaurant (which by the way had excellent food and service). This hotel was a great place for my family; they really treated us like we were their family!”

• It has a pool and Jacuzzi.
• The pool water was cold.

“Overall I like the hotel. I had a couple of my daughter's birthday parties there and enjoyed each time I was there. Overall the staff does not bother you, but is available if you need anything.”
