• If I had to say something nice it would be the location.
• Handicap room was very dirty. Had spiders in bathroom.

“I would never stay at this hotel again. I filled out a room survey at the hotel as well noting the extreme conditions such as spiders in bathroom etc. I never did get a response from the hotel.”

• I liked the easy come/go access and location.
• There was nothing I was unhappy with.

“The rooms are comfortable and have refrigerators for storing drinks, etc. I like that there was no daily maid service if you chose that option. There was access to extra towels with no problem.”

• Was nice that it had a full kitchen.
• Room smelled like smoke.

“The room was very spacious and had the full kitchen. The beds were comfortable. No conditioner at all which was disappointing. Being a woman with long hair; definitely need conditioner or combo products to comb through hair. The stunk like smoke which was a real turn off. Even after a deodorizer was sprayed in fan. Specially in the morning, being a non smoker.”

• Beautiful grounds.
• Stinky rooms, need complete overhaul.

“I would only recommend this place if you need a place to stay with animals, they allow them. If you have allergies, be prepared for a miserable experience. The rooms are overpowered with room freshener which goes away the second day of your stay to reveal a smell, stale smoke and just a dirty room. Bathroom had moldy caulk. Bad decor. Grounds are pretty, too bad interior doesn't match.”

• The location of the hotel was exactly what I was looking for.
• Put in a smoking room when I first arrived even though I had requested a non-smoking room.

• Absolutely superior staff. Everyone of them was friendly and cheerful and the hotel was immaculate.
• Not one thing.

• Good location, refrigerator, stove, and cooking supplies.
• Bed not comfortable, no frills at all, not even any shampoo provided.

“Hotel is in a good safe location close to restaurants and shopping. This is really a no frills hotel, no shampoo is provided and the front desk basically closes at 11. Bed is not very comfortable.”

• Cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
• I was very pleased with the hotel.

“The staff made you feel very welcome there. The front desk person even called our room after we checked in to make sure everything was okay, that's something I have not experienced at other hotels. The room was very clean and had everything you could need. I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel.”

• Price was affordable and hotel staff was friendly.
• The door-slamming sounded like explosions.

“The door - slamming sounded like nuclear explosions. The headboard rattled, and the walls vibrated when doors were slammed. I was unable to sleep because of the door-slamming. The only reason I went to this hotel was to sleep. None of the factors in your survey matters if I am unable to get any sleep.”

• Fantastic price, especially with kitchenette.
• Wi-Fi was not free.

“A little ways out from downtown Milwaukee, but easy to find, close to zoo and Miller Park. Convenient to various shopping and highways. Love the convenience of full kitchenette, room was clean. Kitchenette stocked with basic dishes, utensils and friendly staff.”

• It was nice and it was quiet.
• There was not a hot tub.

“Very nice hotel. Internet service was available; do not know if there was an additional charge. Room was large, and had a small kitchen, full fridge, a microwave. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

• Great location for newer hotel. Nice grounds-pet walking area.
• Extra charge for pets but not for smokers.

“My owners said the hotel was very nice but I had to sleep in the car because they did not want to pay the added charge for having a pet in the room. There is no added charge for smokers who leave odor and might damage the furnishings so why discriminate against pets?”

• The person on duty, Matt, was very attentive to our needs & requests.
• No breakfast.

“The hotel was clean, and my mother-in-law had some dirt in her bathroom when we arrived. The person on duty came right up to clean it.”
