• The hotel lobby was very clean and the staff were very helpful
• The beds were very uncomfortable and two of my children were bitten by ants. The mirrors in the room were very odd.

“Of the hotels I have been in at this price level, this was by far the least comfortable beds. The mirrors covering one wall made us think these rooms were meant for something other than families traveling. I also requested non-smoking due to my asthma and was given a smoking room, which smelled very much like smoke. Also, I have never stayed in a hotel room that had ants. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night.”

• Fridge did not work in first room - had to change rooms.

“The furniture had stains - difficult to get to - no good instructions.”

• It was a convenient location for visiting beach home and Mobile.
• Hotel management did not monitor noise levels of other guests.

“I have stayed here twice. I will not stay to his hotel. I had reserved a non-smoking room. When I arrived, this necessitated them to make a change. They placed me (single woman business traveler) staying adjacent to a group that kept their door open so they could walk/talk across the hall from each other. I thin they were day laborers on work crews for Katrina repair teams etc. If I had complained to management about the noise level, it would have been obvious who had placed the complaint, and I was afraid of reprisal. I bolted my door, secured the latch, placed both trash cans and a chair behind my door in case my room was entered during the night by the other hotel guests. I have traveled for business fairly often and never had a fearful experience until this time. While the party seemed to quiet down around midnight, the back and forth traffic across the halls (doors opening and closing, and general higher noise level) caused me a few hours of sleep loss. No I will not stay here ever again. I understand that the work crew were a prime customer (extended stay) but that should never take priority over other customers obtaining a good night's sleep. There are other hotels in Tillman Corners and they will get my business. ”
