• Continental breakfast was really nice, major convenience!
• Bed was not very comfortable.

“It was perfect for the business trip I was on, very affordable, if I were on a romantic getaway I would have liked a more comfortable bed. Location was very convenient, close to Route 59 and all shopping and restaurants.”

• We stay at the hotel often when we visit my parents, we have never had a bad experience.
• Found a couple of hairs in the shower when we arrived.

• Clean, roomy, close to family that I visited.
• Asked for clean towels daily and not to clean room, did not get towel first night, and had to return to desk to get them.

“Overall this a good motel to stay in Aurora, we slept very well, the room was clean, just ask that all staff read and follow directions that are asked of them by traveler.”

• Clean, better than it's star rating, free continental breakfast, great value.
• The mattress was older and springy. Not as comfy as I would like but okay.

“This is a clean hotel that is more like a 2 star than a 1 star. The pool area is small but nice and clean. The room was clean and quiet, yet the mattress was a little too springy for my liking but I was still able sleep just fine even being 28weeks pregnant. The room also had a microwave and fridge which was nice. The location is good and convenient but a little tricky to find initially.”

• Close to the where we needed to be.
• House keeping was not on staff in evening we needed more blankets and front desk housekeeping was closed.

• Jacuzzi in the room.
• Everything in the room was low to floor.

“The over all check in and stay was great! I and my husband took the kids to the pool which was fun except the need to recheck their chlorine levels. Then just I and my husband had the nights to you for the location and price the Jacuzzi room was great! Everything in our room was low to the ground uncomfortable due to tall people but otherwise would tell others!”

• It was in a convenient flocculation.
• The pool was very small, and you could walk in without a key, not safe for children.

“The hotel was clean and convenient. The hotel pool was too small and the hot tub did not bubble. You could get into the pool room without a key access, which was dangerous for small children. Overall it was an ok stay.”

• Hot tub and pool, smoking rooms available. Flexible staff.
• Main pool was a little small but it worked.

“You will need to print out a directions to get to this hotel due to it's location. Good value for the price, I would consider it for return after exploring other hotels in this inexpensive price range. Also, a microwave and refrigerator which was not accepted but a TV remote who's functions did not all work and TV reception was marginal.”

• Nice staff. Nice public areas. Decent value.
• Front desk attendant didn't remember to set wake-up time.

“The super 8 is a welcoming budget-oriented hotel. All staff was courteous and helpful. However, a call down to the front desk for a 6:30 a.m. Wakeup call didn't apparently get set, as the phone never rang. Fortunately, I woke up on my own by 6:15 and started getting ready, so it didn't matter for me, but it might have been a problem for others. The room's carpet needed a shampooing for things stuck in the fibers. On the whole, the experience was acceptable. If the staff addressed the few things I mention above, it would be hard to complain.”

• It had many amenities and friendly people on staff. Close to all I needed.
• Just a couple problems that heavily detracted from the experience.

“The super 8 is a decent option for business travelers. The super 8 is located near key places, but is difficult to find at first. The staff is friendly and the main areas are well-kept. The amenities are nice, including a pool and hot tub, meeting area, and their carbohydrate-loaded free breakfast options. Unfortunately, the hotel room carpet badly needed shampooing--there was crusty white and other colored-stuff stuck in the carpet. A remaining in the threading on underside of the top bed cover was quickly apparent when pulling it down to get into bed (in a room I will be in for five nights). Otherwise, the room was acceptable. The carpet was well-vacuumed and the bathroom areas were spotless. Inexpensive solutions to the above problems would have made the stay a much more impressive occasion. ”

• The free breakfast was very convenient. The food was fresh and the area was very clean.
• Can't think of anything I did not like.

“The hotel was fine, however we ran into a slight snag when we checked in. I was sure that I had registered for a room with 2 queen beds, but the hotel insisted that we had requested a room with one king-sized bed. I wouldn't have selected one bed, as we had our children with us. Eventually we had to pay an extra surcharge to get a room with 2 beds. This is my only complaint.”

• I can't think of anything that I wasn't impressed with.

“I can't understand how this hotel is rated as 1 star and another hotel we stayed at in Naperville a couple of weeks ago was a 2 star-and SHOULD NOT of been rated that! This Super 8 was MUCH better and UNDER RATED! It should be a 3 star as far as I could tell! I don't know how you people rate hotels-but it is NOT CORRECT and very misleading! Just thought I would give my 2 cents worth-thanks.”

• I got it at the last minute. Free wireless Internet.
• Recliner in room was dirty and ragged. I am a non-smoker but got a smoking room.

“Nice staff was concerned about giving me, a non-smoker, a smoking room, but it was the last room they had. The room was decent sized and relatively clean but Spartan and basic. The recliner in the room was dirty and ragged. It should have been thrown out or recovered. Breakfast in the morning was not the best quality. Orange Juice was really just an orange drink, similar to "Sunny D". I was just happy to have somewhere to stay since my reservation was made at the last minute, but I would not recommend this hotel to friends, family or business associates.”

• They allowed us to bring our pet. They did a nice job cleaning our room and having it ready for us. The location of the hotel was awesome.
• It was hard to find the motel. They need a bigger sign.

“I enjoyed staying at his hotel. It was comfortable and the people there were very polite and helpful. I thought the location of the hotel was great. As a traveler, I didn't have to look very hard for restaurants and department stores, which saved me a lot of time.”

• The people at the desk were very professional and extremely helpful in giving directions and advice for traveling around Aurora.
• There was not much of a selection at the continental breakfast.

“The hotel room was clean and well stocked. We received a goodnight sleep. The employees were a pleasure to talk with, and well informed about the area.”
